Drove all the way from Rockingham NC, to CrossCreek Mall, in Fayetteville, NC, just to get our favorite cookies...30mins b4 closing, and they didn't have hardly any cookies...explained to them we drove over an hour and they still wouldnt cook any for us. Offered to prepay and we would come back tom for them, and NOPE!!!! Wouldnt do that either. They just kept repeating for us to place order online and then we could come back tom to get them. We didn't want to order online bc we were already standing right there. We just wanted to give our order and pay and pick them up tom. What ever happened to customer satisfaction? If that were my business and I made a product that someone drove over an hour for? You can bet yr last penny, I wldve baked them for them and thanked them for coming from so far away. But we could tell we were an inconvenience to the 2 workers. And btw, the exact 2 types of cookies we wanted, were all sold out supposedly and the reason they didn't have anymore, is bc they are 'expensive to make'...go figure.. the guy told me the manager don't like messing with those 2 bc they take 15 mins to cook instead of 12, like with the other cookies. Really??..what the what?????

My mom took my twin boys here today as it was the last thing they wanted to do on her trip here for the holidays. I was with my other two kids at another store in the mall. She told me afterward that she went to pay for 6 cookies and the lady at the counter named Angie was glaring over my mom’s shoulder and proceeded to say to my mom, “so you’re going to be cheap this year?” because my mom didn’t select a tip on the screen for an order of 6 cookies my kids had this lady put in a bag. Maybe don’t breathe down someone’s neck with an attitude expecting a tip? That is not how you get one. I do not recommend this location. This is the third incident in the last few years here with unprofessional workers and poor quality. I told my mom if it had been me, I wouldn’t even have bought the cookies. I would have walked away and taken my business elsewhere to Cinnabon for the kids.

The guy attending the counter was nice. There's tons of cookies to choose from. All the cookies were fresh, had a wonderful texture, and yummy! We will be back!

Jackson did an amazing job with my 17 yr old daughters cookie cake. It was moist well after the 24 hr expire date and tasted and looked great. Also a side bonus all the team members signed a happy birthday card taped to the box. Thank you to the Fayetteville NC location at Cross Creek Mall. You made my picky daughter’s birthday better. Will shop a cookie cake again and 100% recommend

We ordered a chocolate fudge double doozie for our son's birthday. We did it online and was ready before the designated pick up time. The fact that the employees of the store all signed a birthday card made his day even better. Thank you Angie for the awesome cookie!

Honestly I used to love going to this place a few years ago but I recently went and can't believe I spent almost $8 for 3 cookies..that is insane! I understand inflation and all but yall are really robbing people with your prices and the cookies weren't even fresh!

I love the cookies, so thats why 2 stars. The “double doozie” is my absolute favorite. I went today, & to start.. I know we cant help how we look but the workers look absolutely disgusting and greasy. I still decided to get my cookies and hope they were at least nice. I was very wrong. They clearly both hate their jobs.. there were no double doozies so I asked if they could make one for me and the guy literally said UGH. I blew it off, but every time I added another cookie or had a question about a cookie he acted like it was the biggest inconvenience ever. Crazy how this guy acted & definitely does not need to be working in customer service. I’ve been in many different states and love great american cookies, but this location is BY FAR THE WORST. Then to ask for a tip at the end… ridiculous.

ook i'm no karen, but what the heck happened to this cake, our decorator was jackson and im sure he's a beginner but if i had known i would've just asked for a plain cookie cake and done it myself. my mother use to work here for YEARS and we could not believe the way this turned out.

Very unhappy with these cookies it claimed they are baked fresh daily yet I got the buy 4 get 1 free and every single one of them was hard as a rock and old and tasted like they were frozen and just nasty very unhappy I came back to let them know and the lady was very rude and refused to refund me of fix the situation! Won't ever buy from here again and will definitely let others know to not buy here to!

I had a very embarrassing encounter due to the manager (older lady) there. I picked put my cookie(s) and handed my military, said my number for points, and proceeded to give my card. Like I do every other week. I'm a very consistent client. I was informed that there was a issue with their system and that it was not registering my card. The employees let me know that it's happened before. The manager snarkly said well you need to pay with another card. I enforced her that that's my debit card and what I used everytime I come there. She madthem try a few more times. When they couldn't get it to work (there's a line at this point). She loudly said ILL JUST PAY FOR HER COOKIES LET HER GO! As if trying to embarrass me like I didn't have the funds . When it was their system that wasn't working. Then rolled her eyes and walked off. I didn't appreciate this at all maybe some customer interaction training is on order. The last I checked you don't shame clients for system malfunctions or be rude.

This is the worst GAC store I've seen. Zero customer service. The cookies look like a 5 year old made them. And they are unapologetic about their mediocrity. Hard pass. Go to Superior Bakery and get yourself a REAL cake, while also supporting a local business.

I was pregnant and craving cookies and trying to suggest this place to a friend. I bought 4 cookies and they put it in a tiny bag. As I was about to ask for a bigger package, the cookies slide out of the tiny package and I was still in front of the counter. They had the audacity to tell me that they will not give me replacements when they were the ones that caused it. Terrible customer service!!! Especially towards pregnant woman!

Cookies and Brownies are always fresh and delicious. Staff is always friendly. However, just this pass weekend I was a bit taken back by Jax when I asked him for some napkins as the napkin container was empty. He giggles and said I have not had time to refill. I left with no napkins after spending $20 on some cookies. Jax moved on to the next customer not getting any napkins. Great customer service!
