I love to support local so when I saw this food truck I decided I had to check it out. I ordered the All American Burger and fries, both of which were absolutely phenomenal! Also ordered the banana pudding and it is some of the best banana pudding I have ever had! Highly recommend trying if you haven’t been here before!

I'd like to preface this by saying I never liked fried chicken. My wife and all my friends think I'm out of my mind for it. Every single time I've tried it, the skin's been greasy, the whole thing falls apart after just one bite, and then you're left chewing on flavorless meat. Well this place did not disappoint me, because that's exactly what I got.When I asked my wife about her chicken, she was straight-up: it was some of the worst she's ever had. And my daughter's bacon cheeseburger? Missing in action. No bacon, no cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, no ketchup... Just a lonely piece of meat between two slices of bread.There were some redeeming factors for the meal though. I got the chicken and waffle burger because it looked awesome on the website. And you know what? The chicken was actually good. Shame it was sandwiched between two soggy waffles.So yeah, the food was a letdown, but sometimes that can be made up for with great service. I wasn't there to see it, but my wife said the service was on point. They were nice, polite, and friendly, which is a godsend when you're waiting over an hour for your meal. So, props to the staff for keeping the spirits up.

Thought we’d give it a shot as the internet had us sold. Well, for starters, a Shrimp salad costs $25. The price isn’t an issue; the issue is- you only get 6 shrimp on that salad. Overly priced for no reason and a long wait. I ordered a turkey wing plate. You can clearly tell the wings were reheated. The rice was hard and the collard greens tasted more smoked than anything. I don’t think I’ll return. But who was I kidding; most of the local restaurants in the Fayetteville area is trash. On a good note, the staff was friendly.

Heard good things ,but not sure what happened today ,I spent 22 dollars got the chicken wings ,they were very greasey, and the mac and. Hesse was dry and the collards was too spicy tasted like a bottle of hot sauce was dumped in it and the moma ds sauce tasted just like sweet baby Ray barbeque sauce out the bottle . It was very disappointing to me ,sorry I won't be back

I really wanted to like it. The food is overly spicy. When I hear the name mama dee I imagine food my daughter’s grandmother would make us. What I received reminded me more of Indian cuisine the cabbage tasted like curry more than it did fried cabbage. I had a side missing and a drink missing not a big deal but annoying none the less. The chicken was okay but I’ve had better quality food from a chick fil a. For the price that I paid for this I expected some authentic soul food. Even the collards were overly spicy ?️. I hope the owner can listen to some of the great advice they’ve recieved from customers to deliver better quality food. If they’re still here in a year I’ll give it another try to see if they improve any which I hope they will. Love the name great for marketing. Also the fry’s looked like crinkle fry’s from the frozen food isle not waffle fries. Again overly priced! I left 2 stars because the chicken sandwich was pretty good. I would order that again. The macaroni was not cheesie and had a gas taste and smell to it.
