Nice place with good food and solid if not spectacular beer. There are plenty of TV's to watch any games that may be on and there is a very nice outdoor patio. The food was good as I had a burger that was done to my liking and tasty. Our waiter was extremely good as he was very personable and attentive to our table. Very nice place.

1st time coming here Came here for a nice dinner with my wife. We asked to sit outside at the patio because it seemed nice but it smelled like straight dumpster/homeless/someone not showering for who knows how long/you got a major problem outside/don't sit outside.....seemed a little slow for a Saturday night. Was a little thrown off by the decor inside , kind of felt like an old school Pizza Hut.. had the artichoke dip for the app and it did not disappoint! My main course was the bone in ribeye with a Cesar and a Mac and cheese. I asked the server how the Mac was and she said it was pretty good and cheesy and not dry at all. Mac n cheese came out dehydrated af dying for moisture. Not good sent it back for asparagus instead. Ordered my steak blue rare and it came out medium well ( blasphemy )of course had to send that back too. Got my steak re made and it was cooked blue rare. Good but they should really sear the sides so all the gristle is not like absolute rubber.. also seasoning the steak would probably be a good idea too.. I'm just saying a little salt pepper and garlic goes a long way. Wife had the blue brew burger with onion rings. Burger was bland and not at all anything to rave about . We ordered their banana pudding desert and it definitely had bananas that had gone bad in it. I had high expectations coming in but overall was throughly disappointed. Would not recommend unless you're coming for drinks. Would be good to educate your staff on what they are serving or at least label your flights. Beer was good though. Solid 2/10

Three of us ordered steaks and none of them had any type of seasoning on them at all like they completely forgot to add any kind of seasoning. The cook wasn't bad. One was supposed to be medium. Rare was more like medium. The other two cooks were okay but the steak just tasted bland made comments to the waitress. She said she would let the management know was never offered to replace the steaks. When the bill came there was no discount provided for the poor steaks. Waitress went to the manager and she gave us a mere $20 off of a $217 bill. Alex was our waitress. She was very, very good. Constantly checked on us, made sure our glasses were always full. Apologize for the steaks being done that way. Had no problem with her service. So very very good service. Was our first time eating there and needless to say it'll be the last time not interested in. Going to find out if the cooks know how to cook a steak the next time

I wish Mash House wasn't so hit or miss. I've lived in Fayetteville for 10 years and for almost all of those years I've tried it 2-3 times a year at least, sometimes more when the menu isn't slaughtered with poor changes. The food is always seasoned poorly no matter what you order. The specials are always the same boring, bland specials time and time again. Some version of seafood fra diavolo or some mediocre cut of steak. Every time they change the menu they remove something beloved. Take the fish and chips for example that were actually great, one of the best menu items they had. They removed them and then added tartar sauce after??? Make it make sense. The only real reason to come here is they'll always cook a burger perfectly but when I say perfectly I only mean temp. They will absolutely under season anything you order 100% of the time. If you complain they'll do nothing. Speak to a manager and they do nothing time and time again. It's like what they think"modern" food is but seasoned for 70+ year olds. Even if you tell them to season your food more it will still be bland. I've even talked to managers that acknowledge this is a common complaint but they do absolutely nothing to fix it. So much potential wasted by what I can only imagine is management making terrible decisions. Season your food Mash House. Season. Your. Food.

Our food was ok, steak was cold but they fixed that for us. Salad was delicious and fresh, the apple cobble was meh… we had great service from Nyla, a very sweet and attentive waitress.Upon returning home from our trip and checking my credit card bill, I noticed that a 17.00 tip was charged to my CC. I left a 25.00 cash tip on the table. This was disgusting and dishonest.

The servers are always nice and responsive. The food is good, although I wish they had the filet. AND it's always a good vibe!

Great environment, good beer, but they picked the wrong night to let the new cook run the grill. Steak was unbelievably rare! Sent back to cook more, came out like tree bark! Not pleased! Get it together and this place could easily be a top spot in Fayetteville!!!

We got there and there and had to wait for a guy to quit playing with his phone before greeting us. We asked for a booth and were told “we’re not seating there right now, but have us a table next to the booth where they were not seating. Our waitperson had a really rough night. She asked me to repeat my order for beer and again for food when we were ready to order. My wife ordered a strawberry stout and Alyssia brought mine to the table and said they were “changing the barrel” and it would be a minute. Ten minutes later, I flagged her over and asked her to just bring a pint of what I was having. That took another 5 minutes and she returned with half a pint. Our food arrived, and it was perfect - if I could rate the food separately, it would get a solid five. While we were still eating, and I mean eating as in chewing our food and holding our forks, Alyssia came to the table and asked if she could take our plates or if we needed boxes. I told her that we were still eating and she left. She came back again to try and take our plates.Of all people, I am very generous with tipping because I believe that restaurants do not treat their employees very well. So I give a lot of slack. But seriously, trying to take our plates away when we were still eating? I have honestly never had that happen. I know a lot of the staff are military spouses, and so I left 20% , but it was a pity tip.We have eaten here twice a year for several years because we travel to see our daughter up north and this has always been a favorite place of ours. I am not sure we will go back. The food is great. The employees? Maybe some additional training about how to wait tables would be helpful. And for God’s sake, train the people at the hostess podium to keep their phones in their pockets.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and beers. I dont normally drink stouts but the strawberry stout was so delicious! We had fried green tomtoes and jambalaya. Maurice was the best! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I wish we lived closer!!

The food is some of the best in the area - their garlic mashed potatoes are my favorite. The service has always been extremely friendly and welcoming. We have given this restaurant three chances because of the food, the people, and the atmosphere, but the kitchen is painfully slow. We have come in the evening twice and were there over 90 minutes waiting for food. We have now come in on an early afternoon where there were only four other people in the restaurant - our potato skins took nearly 30 minutes to come out and our entrees were 40 minutes after that. I’m not sure what the kitchen staff is doing, or if they are understaffed, but the good food isn’t worth the slow service. Hopefully they can figure it out, because this place has the potential to be a top restaurant in Fayetteville.

My fiancé and I went here on a whim and I must say this is Fayetteville’s best kept secret! We ordered Spinach artichoke dip and it was great! I got the Sirloin and she got the Shrimp and grits and oh my goodness very flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Went here with a group and everyone only had positive praise for food and service. Popular picks for food were the Poutine, Wings, and the Goober Burger that includes a fried egg and peanut butter! The Mango Tango Margarita and the 'Ol Blue Cocktails were delicious as well. We went on a Saturday night and made a reservation ahead of time for 10. They were able to accommodate us and it wasn't too busy or noisy inside.

Hopefully you like your meat RAW(er) than you are used to. 3 steaks, 1 salmon and a burger and all were undercooked. For example, someone ordered a Medium well done steak (heinous crime on its own) but it came out medium rare. 2 steaks sent back for being raw and one was blue.
