We are from out of town and we were visiting family in town for the week. We were going to go to Annabelles across the street but it was closed so we decided to try Piero's Italian bistro I can tell you I was not disappointed. I had the Bistecca Roma and it was some of the best pasta I've had in years. The atmosphere was nice. I would have to say that our server was terrible she rarely checked up on the table we constantly had to call her over to clear the table once we were done eating to get refills on drinks etc. however I would say that the food made up for her shortfall. Next time we are in town I look forward to going back and trying more dishes as the one we had was superb. Portions were large. Comes with salad and fresh bread knots (for the table). Slightly more pricy than across the street but we'll worth it.

The food was ok but the service was not very good, the server had an attitude the whole time for no reason. He also seemed like he didn’t even want to wait on us. He didn’t check to see if we needed anything and when we asked for refills or something, he made a face that made it seem like we were inconveniencing him (there was only one couple dining in there other than us, so I definitely expected a bit better service). We also had a party large enough to sit at two different tables but refused to give us two separate bread baskets. We had to pass the one basket we did get around between the two tables. Which was very weird in my opinion.

Horrible dining experience! The food seem.pre breaded! The manager was rude and said the knew policy is if you do not like your food YOU MUST ORDER SOMETHUNG ELSE! So who orders something else when your salad is nasty and your lobster ravioli is nast

Great service and very good Italian food! We had gone to Pierro's a few years ago around Christmas time. We were determined to find it again while traveling last week. Front desk worker, at Fairfield Inn and suites North, went out of his way to find it for us! Wish I'd gotten his name!

Incredible food and amazing atmosphere. My waitress Grace was very friendly and attentive to our table.

Besides the wait staff and server's arguing and yelling at you. Jack and Brian taking food for others and it taking longer for my appetizers than my sandwich I would not recommend this place until they can figure out how to work inside... was insane for any of this to happen in full view of guests

The portions are huge and the food is great. The prices are reasonable.

Had a wonderful meal tonight with a very nice waiter. I think his name was Alex? From drinks to appetizers, meals and desserts Pierro's is always great!

Orders always wrong ….phone busy for 45 minutes… you can’t get through… very unprofessional and lack of customer service

Waitress was very attentive and sweet. However a member of the kitchen staff was playing music loud enough for us to hear at our table with the word God D*** throughout the song.

Charity brought the 5th star to the table, she is absolutely awesome. Oh and the food was excellent as well. But the 5th star is all Charity's. Hope I spelled her name right. We will be back.

I have tried to call and phone would just ring. Tried to call the other restaurant as well before posting. My son was getting married on June 26th. We had reservations for the 25th. Called several times and reservations was not made. Not sure if it was the owner or planner for wedding, but no one communicated to staff. Thursday I called and they had some info. Was charged 250.00 for room, but was told a month ago it was 200.00 dollars. We arrived at 7:15 pm expecting to be seated since reservations was 7:00. Was ask to wait outside. We waited for over 30 minutes. We had children and was not served until 9pm. A long night for all, when nothing was prepared . Very disappointed for a very special night leading up to there wedding. Was very unorganized. I will like to thank the servers, they did a fantastic job.

I’ll start with the good first. My pasta was pretty good considering it was made in NC. Now that’s done, these garlic knots shouldn’t be called garlic knots. It’s more like baked Hawaiian rolls brushed with olive oil and dusted with parmesan cheese. Then it was ironic that we got served foam cups even though there were only 2 other tables in the entire restaurant. Then even more so, how they ran out of Pepsi... Along with lots of other items they seemed to be out of. The other location on Hay St definitely is better quality. The service was extremely good which was a plus. But overall this is probably the closest you’ll get to somewhat authentic Italian in NC.

Stopped by with the wife tonight and was pleasantly surprised. We had a pepperoni pizza and chicken wings, both of which were really good. If there were different flavor wings, it would be even better. Only a small selection of bottled beer available (no draft), but they had the basics. My wife had the sangria and said it was one of the best that she's had lately. The staff was really friendly and the prices were fair. We'll be back.
