I don't think this place is the same restaurant. I have nothing against Haitian food establishments. But when I order food I want to see prices. I could barely hear or see the woman taking my order and the place didn't smell like any food was cooking or had been cooked. I thought when I order fried ribs the woman said $28 so I handed her $40 and she said $8 more dollars. After hearing that I said to cancel my order and to give my money back. I've order a fried ribs platter before it did not cost me almost $50 for 3 ribs and two sides. Dishonest business practices not being transparent with prices.

There was only one car parked outside the place. Bars over the windows. Razor wire around the parking lot. Didn't even attempt going inside.

Don't go!!! It's not there! Drove 10 minutes off of the highway because the pictures looked so delicious. It is replaced by a Haitian restaurant that is not anything like this. Wouldn't even order from this new establishment. Sign is still out front. Sadly disappointed.

I was greeted by the owner before even stepping through the door and he welcomed me as family. Just a sweet wonderful place with humble people doing God's work. Blessings!

Food was cold. I ordered a rib plate with rice. Everything was cold and. I wanted to walk out but didn't want to after I ordered. I watched them put frozen ribs in the deep fryer.

I had the pleasure of eating the best food I have ever eaten at a cook out. Travis has a real talent when it comes to true southern food. He made outstanding barbecue, melt in your mouth yams, succulent brisket. Coleslaw, corn bread, beans, Mac and cheese not to mention the tastiest smoked turkey wings. He cooks seasonal food too. Once you try his made from scratch banana pudding you will never want any other. Hire him for any occasion you won't be sorry. If you see food trucks or festival food look for him he travels with his own kitchen.

The establishment is black owned which is a very good perk. When I went the only sides they had was rice and gravy and yams. I still ordered, I got the turkey wing plate with double rice and gravy. The rice portion was great but the turkey wing not so much. It was a decent size I wish you got two for the price but it’s understandable especially right now during these trying times. I was also expecting my turkey wing to have more of a smoked flavor and my gravy to be brown but otherwise it was okay. I would visit again and try the brisket. The lady doing orders was very sweet too ??
I stumbled upon this gem by chance one afternoon when looking on google for "places to eat near me". When I pulled up I was a bit skeptical in all honesty but GOOD GOD, this place is the best food I have had since moving down south. The brisket was unbelievable, the bbq sauce is out of this world, the staff extremely friendly, the cabbage was perfect.. It was a 10/10 experience from beginning to end. My son got the fried bbq chicken and he is a VERY picky eater and he cleared that plate. (I also snuck in a bite and it was delicious). I would recommend every one give this place a try... like, right now. The prices were a bit high, but when I saw the portion size it all made sense. The size of my plate covered me for lunch and dinner that day.

This was the best southern food in Fayetteville by far that I’ve tasted, down to the Lemonade. My first time having fried ribs and I am very satisfied. I definitely have to go back for more!!! Highly recommended…..
