We have been to many Waffle Houses, but apparently these employees have no other statement during shift change other than “I just got here.” This was the worst Waffle House I’ve visited. We were given ALL dirty silverware. I gave them another shot, and Bruno brought more, and they were clean. We asked for another order of hash browns and waited and waited. Mind you there was only one other couple in the place. Mitchell, the “assistant manager” said he had just been told when I went to pay. I tried to tell him that this was the worst visit we had, and his response was “well, we have nothing but good reviews.” I tried to tell him about all of the flies, but I didn’t even get it out of my mouth when he said, “you have a good day.” He completely dismissed me. He said, “I have stuff to do.” I told him he wasn’t listening to my frustration; he pointed to his ears and said, “I’m listening.” He was rude and unprofessional. Sad. If they are going to make youngsters assistant managers, they should be trained to provide proper customer service. This restaurant is horribly dirty as well.
