“I’m from Pennsylvania, I went on vacation with my family in this area and I was enjoying a nice sunny day at the beach. My family decides they want to go back to the place we were staying at and I wanted to stay on the beach for awhile. I walked to the pear and as it was getting dark, my phone died. I started to walk back and I got completely lost and had no light source or way to contact people. I spent 6 hours on the beach that night and in the sand dunes trying to find my way home when I finally found a small narrow pathway towards the road. I came across this Dairy Queen close to midnight and immediately asked these two girls at the desk if I could borrow a phone to make a call. They gave me a phone to use and I was finally rescued. My mother came and picked me up and I was so thankful that this place was open and willing to let me borrow a phone. Thank you!“

“Friendly service and great coffee. We came in with a large group...8 of us and most ordered specialty drinks. The two employees were very courteous and made the orders as quickly as they could. I'm sure it was overwhelming to have us all there at one time! They forgot one drink, but made it right away when we asked. The had to make more fresh coffee for one of us, which was fine since we knew we would be there a bit getting all the other orders. I believe I ordered a wired monkey - chocolate and banana hot latte - and it was delicious!“
