It's a sandwich shop. Not difficult, but not making sweet tea, which is in fact a staple of this part of the country, when you run out at 6:30 and you close at 9 is fairly unforgivable. The cashier touts the waste of making tea so late in the day, but we all know what's in it, how little it takes to make it, and what would be lost if it went undrunk. More likely the staff just doesnt feel like putting in the effort. Most of the tables are dirty right now, too, and it was empty besides one customer and three employees when we got here, so hard to know the excuse on that one is. 4/14/2430m update... They're out of most of their sodas, too..probably should have made better use of their downtime.

When I went in to firehouse to purchase subs for my family. I ordered 2 Cajun subs and one kids meal with NO cheese and I explicitly told them this because she is allergic to dairy. After 35 minutes of waiting with no other customers. I finally got the subs and when I opened my order when I got home I found they switched my sub with another sub and put cheese on my daughters meal. I will NEVER come here again. I used to be a big fan of this firehouse but recently the whole atmosphere has changed.

I used to go to firehouse all the time a few months ago and the energy was lovely, the employees would always greet you and chit chat and if you wanted something extra on a sub, you’d get it. I went in there the other day and it was a bunch of teenagers just reeking of pot and messing up orders. It took them 25 minutes to make my order and it was soggy and dripping in mayo. do better.

Walked in and it was 3 teenagers just standing around. One even had gloves on while scrolling on his phone. No one even said welcome to firehouse. The cashier’s attitude was very standoffish almost as if he wanted me to hurry up and place my order. While I was waiting on my order they still were just standing around talking amongst each other. One of them even cursing so loudly I could hear it from where I was standing and I wasn’t even close to them, I was standing near the online order pickup. More customers continued to walk in and the same cashier had that same standoffish attitude with everyone. After almost 30 minutes my order was ready. Not sure why 1 sandwich took as long as it did but I doubt I’ll go back to this location. I only went because I had just gotten off work and it was a convenient location for me.

Best little sandwich shop in town imho. Super fresh and friendly staff. Have never been disappointed going here. Try the Jamaican Jerk Turkey sub. Delicious!

Nice looking place, like the firehouse vibe. Unfortunately, the food & service do not match up - they failed to meet my expectations. Went in to get sub for dinner and ordered the large New York Steamer to go. Asked for half the sub to have NO MAYO. The description read USDA Choice Corned beef brisket and pastrami, melted provolone, deli mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing, order was Made quickly and we left. The sandwich description sounded good & I was looking forward to eating it! My husband was bragging about how good this shop is in Cleveland. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH WHAT WE GOT!! It did not look like the advertised photo at all. It was the slimiest, greasiest, gross sandwich. I didn't even eat it, sadly. Apparently NO MAYO means EXTRA mayo at this location ..... The whole thing was slathered with so much mayo the outside of the bun was greasy and the sandwich slipped out of your hands. My husband suggested I wipe the mayo off my half, but there was just SO MUCH that would have been useless. We found no deli mustard or Italian dressing! Now, no one else was in there when we ordered, it was 5pm so not late or an odd time and there were 4 employees standing around .... So really no excuse for what we received....I really wanted to like it. Sadly, WALK ON BY, NOT WORTH IT. Overpriced at $13.99 on top of the sloppy assembly. I found something in my pantry for dinner instead. Big sad. ?Dietary restrictions: They don't seem to pay attention to special food modifications or requests to avoid specific ingredients.Parking: Location is a little hard to see shop unless you are specifically looking for it. Busy road makes it a little difficult getting in and out of parking lot.

I don't write reviews (my second) so just know that when I do write a review - it is either REALLY good or REALLY bad. This was not good. Sandwiches were slapped together slop and not made correctly. Got 3 of one sandwich instead of one of the 3 I ordered. I ordered online and can't find a way to complain to Firehouse corporate because their website is, well, limited, so Tripadvisor you scored. I have eaten at this restaurant many times but this is the last time. Used to be good but has gone way down hill.
