Nice chill and clean gyro spot that makes very simple but very delicious food. We both got the beef and lamb gyros with fries and some of their avgolemono soup as well. The gyro meat was nicely cooked, seasoned well and not dry at all. Their fries are amazing! Perfectly crispy and fluffy.Their avgolemono was definitely my favourite thing that we got. Although I do have an affinity for soups. I'm so glad we made this stop since we're not in Fuquay very often.

Cute quick casual spot for lunch on a busy spring day- it was really great and as an avid hummus consumer, I would come back just for that!

The service was good. The food itself was dry, as if it had been sitting for a while. It was my first time trying gyros so I’m not sure what they are supposed to taste or feel like, but I wouldn’t try it again from this restaurant. Prices felt a little steep for the quality.Parking: Parking is right in front of the restaurant.

During our recent visit to "The Gyro Spot" in Fuquay-Varina, NC, my fiancée and I discovered a treasure trove of authentic Greek cuisine that exceeded our expectations. The passion and pride of Derick, the principal owner, in maintaining the authenticity, cleanliness, and quality of the food were palpable from our very first interaction. His emphasis on ensuring a positive and memorable customer experience resonated with us throughout our visit.Residing in Pine Level, NC, approximately 30 miles away, we were in search of Mediterranean cuisine while on a trip to Costco. "The Gyro Spot" caught our attention and we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, the immaculate condition of the restaurant led us to believe it was a newly established venture, only to learn it has been welcoming guests for over a year and a half. Our meal choice included the ORIGINAL GREEK GYRO PLATTER and the BEEF & LAMB GYRO PLATTER. Each platter was generously served with Greek rice, pita bread, tzatziki, and we opted for the Greek Fries (feta cheese, olive oil, oregano) over a salad. The quantity and pricing were notably reasonable, especially considering the current economic climate. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the taste – authentic, unadulterated Greek flavors that transported us to the Mediterranean. The Greek Fries, a sophisticated twist on the traditional side, added an original flair to our gyros and emphasized the authenticity of the cuisine.Would we return? Without a shadow of a doubt. Our heartfelt thanks to "The Gyro Spot" for an unforgettable culinary journey.

We ate at the Gyro Spot today. I wasn't really happy with the lamb and pork Gyro, the original platter may have been slightly better. Maybe not in the mood for gyros, but I really don't see going back. The service was okay they took the order then set the food on the counter which I had to pick up. The Ambiance was okay, not something that you would get really excited about. The worse thing is when I got home I saw they charged $1.10 delivery fee. I had to get up and get the food and didn't get any of it. Oh Well! I can't help about the shape I'm inI can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thinBut don't ask me what I think of youI might not give the answer that you want me to

Background: Myself & my girlfriend grew up in LA & NY. With experience in culinary art. Parents were Sous/ Executive Chefs at well credited restaurants in the big cities. If you're looking for authentic Greek / Mediterranean cuisine. This spot may not be the place for you. We may be wrong but I feel like the food was almost tailored for a community that has not been exposed to much Mediterranean food. The Gyro Spot's food was lacking a lot of flavor. Lack of seasoning especially in their meats; ie, lamb, beef, and chicken. Color is flavor! And with just seeing the food with my eyes at first, determined the expectation of the lack of flavor, & we were right. It's hard to taste the Mediterranean flavor profiles. We had to add hot sauce and salt to make up for the lack of flavor. The soup tasted like Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. On the other hand, their flatbread that came with the Gyros were fresh and delicious. The Tzatziki was packing with flavor along with the hummus. Vinaigrette was also really good. Service was very polite and friendly. Thank you.
