I placed an order for pickup a few weeks ago. After bringing the pizzas home I realized the food was undercooked. I put the pizzas in the oven, but it didn't taste the same. I tried my luck again 2 wks later. Place another pickup order and this time the pizzas were borderline burnt. I've ate at this location many times and never experienced anything like this. The food is usually on point. I'm not sure if they have new staff members or the standards have been lowered. I kinda feel like my food was sabotaged because, I didn't tip. Why would the company ask customers who pick up their food for tips? I work in healthcare and I don't get tips for doing my job, although I should.

I really want to like this place. My orders used to be here on time and arrive hot and be correctly made. Never used to be an issue. Except for my most recent order, the shaq-a-roni. It should be enormous, right? That's the whole point of it being promoted by former NBA player, right? Wrong and wrong. The one I got was about the size of a large. It didn't even fill the box it came in, the size it was meant to be... not to mention both the pizza and wings I ordered were cold and hard when it arrived. Definitely did not get my $40 worth. (And that includes deals and discounts)Sidenote: it was delivered by doordash. When it switches hands so much, I expect a sticker sealing the food, so I know it hasn't been opened/ touched. Neither the pizza box nor the container for the wings were sealed. I was told that only is done for no-contact orders during covid...That was in November, and I asked for a refund immediately. It's now January, and I still haven't gotten my money back. I've called the store, I've called customer service, and I've emailed customer service. The store manager told me on December 4th that the refund was being processed and that I should call doordash to release the funds. This didn't make sense. I ordered on Papa johns website, and my card was charged by papajohns. Why would doordash have to pay my refund??? But I called anyway, and the dd rep said the funds need to come to me directly from the merchant like I thought... why is it so hard to get a simple refund from this company??? Idk what else to do so I've gone "karen"

Miserable service. You will be told your food is ready via the app, text message, or however else you chose to get your order updates, but it will not be ready when you get there. Just spent 25 minutes sitting at the counter waiting for the lady to finish putting stickers on boxes every 10 minutes to check if my order was sitting on the warming rack. 2 of the folks waiting with me today were door dash drivers who both said they typically decline orders from this store because they end up waiting for 30 minutes for food after being told it is ready for pickup.

Found a piece of hair in my food. couldn't even contact to replace becUse didnt wanna wait, had to be at work in less than an hour, and delivery always takes a few hours. Also ask to cut in square like i alway do, normally the request get ignored, but this time they kinda did it but they did it on top of the slices they had. so it was just a bunch of lines all over the place. It didn't matter because i was too disgusted because of the hair i found. So we left the pizza in the fridge and just tossed out yesterday.

This is our go to pizza spot. In the past 10 years of being in the Garner area I think we have only had a bad pizza from here once or twice. My kids love to talk anime with one of the workers

The most unorganized and dirty fast food place I have been to in recent memory. The staff were losing orders and slow to provide service in the chaos, even with 4-5 staff. However, despite this they still got my order right and it was decent, so not too bad.

This place has went extremely down hill since the long time GM left in April. Every manger that was there at that time has since quit. Almost every instore associate has left. They only have three night shift drivers. You can count on most orders being delivered (or stolen) by door dash. The problem is the company refuses to pay people enough. $10.50 isn’t minimum wage. This store will continue to go down. In the past month two more “managers”have quit without notice. The “manager” that was hired two months prior was let go do to improper work/relations with a co worker. This place is hot garbage. This entire company doesn’t care about customers or employees. They just want your money. Corporate greed will be the end of these establishments. Don’t count on it getting any better.

Horrible experience the service was poor. The store workers was lacking in effective communication with each order, poor coordination, poor planning, inexperienced workers who demonstrated to me and other customers that they lack the skills to interact with their customers. The store manager kept disappearing during critical moments when store workers were being overwhelmed with the customer. I observed incompetent workers who worked a job that they lacked the experience for. I’ll never return to this papa John store again.
