I just discovered this place tonight. They have my favorite Cappuccino Crunch ice cream and the gal who served us was awesome and friendly and they have a Pac Man machine. I’ll be back!

Super cute and yummy place! Wide range of flavors and some very unique ones. Definitely worth the stop! Also, the kiddie size is an actual kiddie size which we appreciated.

Amazing ice cream with lots of variety, helpful and patient employees and very affordable. There is outdoor seating and one table inside. This is a great ice cream shop that would be perfect with more indoor seating.

The ice cream was good, they do let you taste; but it’s basically only take away or drive thru I guess? (People drive with a “scoop” of ice cream? I get that they got shakes but it’s “scoop dog”…) It’s painfully awkward to stand around in there with a scoop of ice cream. It’s weird inside because there’s one small table and a free arcade game and other grab and go items and a tv… a WiFi password too- … it’s like inviting and could be a cool place to hang- but then no chairs or space. it doesn’t feel like a place you should come into. Needs to pick a side, rearrange things and make space for ppl to sit inside or close the doors and just operate thru the window. All that to say it does have some outdoor tables. But really limiting themselves to perfect weather. I would rate higher for quality ice cream but the atmosphere is unfortunately bringin it way down. Potential lost to interior design. They did have some dairy free options tho fyi. And a lot of flavors. Small cones too.Vegetarian options: Some icee flavors and non dairy ice creams (I think about 4 “Italian ice” types and 1-2 dairy free ice creams)

TLDR: Yay! We needed more ice cream shops in Garner. Scoop Dogz offers a variety of ice cream flavors, sundaes, milkshakes, and edible cookie dough. Great customer service. Pricy, but comparable to similar shops. Check the mail for coupons. It's never too cold outside for ice cream in NC! I saw an ad for Scoop Dogz and decided to check it out. Even on a chilly November day, I was craving ice cream. This shop is located two doors down from Aversboro Restaurant. It's in a plaza with ample parking. The entrance is on the left and exit door on the right. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a welcoming employee. She smiled and asked if I wanted to try any of the flavors. She patiently waited as I looked through the flavors and menu options. The sundae suggestions sounded so good, particularly the ice cream and cookie dough combos. After much deliberation, I decided on two sundaes. Since they were out of some of the flavors I swapped the chocolate for peppermint and the caramel ice cream for butter pecan. The sundaes were delicious and well balanced. I especially loved the combination of edible cookie dough with ice cream. Not just small chunks but a whole scoop of cookie dough. Their flavors rotate so be sure to look at the display case rather than the printed menus. They also serve ice cream from Homeland creamery. The shop has a few seats inside along with a freezer stocked with pre-packed pints and a free to play Pac-Man game. Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this ice cream shop to others!

Super cute ice cream shop. Kids love it for after Karate. Lots of great ice cream options. They also have edible cookie dough which was super good (first time I’ve had it). The wife got an Italian ice scoop. We’ve been a few time since they opened.
