One of the best surprises of the year so far. We got there a little late on a Saturday, but you would never know it by the service we received by the staff here. Great Southern home cooking. Excellent food, prices, and service.

Eh.. not really all that. Was served Pepsi from 2 liters. And charged 2.85 for each Pepsi and there was 5 of us ? food was just there I guess. Buffet was really bare. The only thing that stood out that I had never seen before was they feed a homeless man I can tell he comes in every morning and they treat him as their own. And they let him eat and then give him food to take with him. With no charge that was the best out of everything for me. Red barn is better for the food tho

I was greeted by a very friendly person who turned out to be my waitress. Friendly staff. So many dishes to pick from. Food was good.

We ate a late lunch here Sunday afternoon. The original building goes back 75 years and has been added on to. The friendly staff and good home cooking more than make up for what the place lacks in ambiance. Their health rating was a healthy 97. The prices are extremely reasonable. The food was all delicious. I had the fried chicken and my husband ordered the pork chops. We will definitely be back!

Love this place. It's been 32 years since I last visited the restaurant. Still felt like home. Great food, with a very warm welcome. Glad to see they are still there. A must try.

Home style soul cooking in charming family atmosphere. Like jumping back 30 years in time. Country folk and long time friends.

If I could have given less stars I would have. Our lunch started with our server telling us how tired she was. That to me is the last thing a server should tell you. She is paid to work, don’t complain!! I love calf’s liver so of course that is what I ordered. It was the WORST I have ever had!!! I ordered cream potatoes and received stewed potatoes. My husband got meatloaf. He took one bite and that was it. Needless to say, we will not be going back!!!

Haven't had the pleasure of eating here in so long. So, I decided to drive the extra miles and as always, it never disappoints. I went to the drive thru so I didn't get to see my sweet friend and owner Donna Sparkman. The BLT and fries were delicious! Can't wait to go back and graze in the buffet❤️

Came in for Sunday breakfast, seemed they had issues getting people to come in to work and our waiter seemed like he had never waitered before, which isn't a bad thing but we didn't get all our food. Food came and it was very very generic, nothing really to die for. Even the orange juice was off. Food took awhile to cook and nothing came out together. everyone eventually got their food and some of it just wasn't good. The whole vibe of the restaurant was just off, i understand they want the whole southern vibe but i just couldn't figure it out. everything was off from the start. First, the drinks were off, orange juice tasted funny. We're not picky people so it was just something we'd deal with. All the food was generic and nothing to get excited for, honestly most people could cook the exact same meal from home and it would turn out better. The waiter was a very nice man though, and he did his best given the circumstances We will not be returning.

I've always wanted to try this place out, it's been here forever and it seems to be popular as there's always a lot of cars in the parking lot. I got the buffet for lunch, it cost about $10 so it's not too bad. The items on the buffet are pretty much hit or miss, the chicken and dumplings taste really good for example, but the mac and cheese was very disappointing. The fried chicken was freshly fried which was a good thing. Some of the desserts were really tasty, the peach cobbler especially. But there was a lot of items that I really didn't care for too much. And I can see why they call this place toot and tell, because later in the day you will definitely be tooting the worst toots you've ever tooted, and people will be able to tell that you did it!

Looking for comfort foods that grandma used to make. Look no further, this is the place. I will be back soon.
