My wife and I just had two meals from Yummi Japan tonight. The food was good. It tasted fresh. It was a generous portion. Quality and price considered it was the best experience we've had with Asian food in this area. It's not often we feel like we have got it money's worth. Tonight we do. As long as the food stays fresh, the portions stay good and the price stays reasonable we will keep coming back often. Some of the Chinese places in the area could learn a lesson from Yummi Japan.

Absolutely incredible food! When I would go visit friends out in Pine Level, I would often stop at the Smithfield location. So when I found out they opened at 40/42, I was more than thrilled! I HIGHLY recommend the salad ginger sauce to go along with anything you order. Delicious!

FINALLY- I find an affordable Japanese take out place. I do have to drive almost 25 min but its worth it! I've been twice now and not let down. I love that when I look at plate I cant count just 4 pieces of chicken or shrimp. The food is plentiful and tasty and affordable. Thank you Yummi!

So this was my first time ordering and eating Yummi Japan. Well the amount of food that was ordered was quite good. Very generous portions for the price. I did order extra meat in all three entrees. What was ordered was Hibachi Steak & Chicken; Hibachi Chicken, and Yummi Chicken, with sides of Crab Rangoon and fried dumplings.So it looked very tasty smelled wonderful, unfortunately flavor was seriously lacking. I tried the Hibachi chicken and steak and very minimal flavor to none at all. The Yummi Chicken, sorta like General Tso's flavor chicken less hot though. Even after adding the white sauce it did not help. I'm sorry, but when you are cooking Hibachi Steak and Chicken it's not bad to pour on the flavor. I'm sorry buy it looks good but doesn't taste good. So probably my last time ordering from this place.
We really like getting take out from here. The portion sizes are huge and they are usually really quick! Highly recommend for some take out hibachi! The dumplings and crab rangoon's are good too!

Probably not the most authentic spot around but solid food! I enjoy it and the price is definitely a good deal for the amount of food you get. I always order online and the order is always ready within 10/15 min and correct! The staff is always friendly too so this a go to for us if we don't feel like driving to Raleigh.
