At the 7 Eleven S. New Hope & Garrison in Gastonia NCLate Oct or early Nov 2023 -- I paid for gas and a basic car wash at the pump. Received my receipt at the pump and drove immediately to the car wash - it would not accept my code. Tried 3-4 times.Immediately went into the store - clerk kept telling me my car wash code was expired. "No way - I just paid for it at the pump 5 minutes ago." Clerk kept saying "Code expired." She had my receipt in her hand folded over to just show the car wash date - I had not noticed, it in fact showed expired the day prior - but I told her I just bought it not 10 minutes ago. Then I looked at the FULL receipt -- the date on gas sale showed one date (that day) and the car wash date with the code showed the day PRIOR.I said "Why is it printing out two different dates on one receipt?'She replied "The wash code is expired" I held the receipt up to her ""Do you not see this is one complete receipt - I did not piece these two together. I want my money back or the wash"She finally checked my printed receipt against her system and sure enough I was right. She gave me a new code.The wash itself was fine but it was a headache getting what I paid for.I sent a comment to 7 Eleven website -- told them I kept my receipt if they wanted to see it for themselves. Of course, they never responded.Be careful if you buy a wash at the pump.

Great place to get gas and other items while you're on your commute

This is probably one of the worst gas stations I’ve ever been at. The some people working there look like they’re either taking heroin or acid. I went into the gas station to try to get some air but the air machine was not working and I was not refunded. They also were very rude and gave me very rude and awkward luxe. When in reality, they need to look at themselves because they look ridiculous. I would not recommend this place.

They are always out of something and today it was Slurpee straws. All they have are tiny straws smaller than the normal sized Slurpees so wasted my time going there when pregnant with morning sickness. That's ridiculous and unacceptable. EBT also not working, and there was once a day where pumps were shut off. All that says to me is there are never managers on site or doing their jobs.

Never have cookies, no mixed nuts and they shut down the oven at 8:30 PM and I stop every day at 4 o’clock to get caramel and salt cookies and they have been telling me every day for a month that they can’t get them, but then I drive another mile and a half to the 7/11 at Franklin and South New Hope and they always have them. The manager repeatedly states that she ordered them but they haven’t come in and she tells me the same thing day after day now for a month. One of the employees told me to call Corporate, so Im sending this message instead.

Came by here for the first time to pump gas. However, every time I inserted my card the screen would freeze. After about a minute, it would ask for my pin and then say my transaction was cancelled. An employee was near me changing the trash, so I asked if he could help. He was very rude and seemed annoyed that I had targeted him for help. He merely reread what the screen said impatiently. I let him know I could read, and he huffed and walked away. I went inside to pay instead and the lady at the counter was sweet and joyful! I paid and pumped quickly. So, not sure what's up with their machines at the pump, but it cancelled several transactions before reading an error. I would pay inside instead.
