We were a group of 6 adults. When we ordered we told the server what we wouldn't like on the meal and or our dietary allergies. It took over an hour to get food and they were not busy. Then all but one plate had to be sent back over it being wrong, especially the ones with food allergies. Once we all got food that wouldn't kill us the food tasted bad and dripping with oil. We all left 80% of our food paid and left. We all said we would not be returning.Dietary restrictions: They didn't listen we had to send back every plate that had a dietary restriction again to be fixed after waiting over an hour for food.

I love this place...they have some of the best salsa and chips around...on my most recent visit the rice which is my favorite there had absolutely no flavor...I think someone missed a step because they are always spot on...

The atmosphere is nice. I sat at the bar because I didn't want to take up a table as I was by myself. The service at Mexican restaurant bars are always horrible. This one was no different.The food was bland with no flavor whatsoever. The meat had zero flavor. I will never go here again. It most certainly is not worth the prices they charge.

The food at Don Pedro was amazing. I had Seafood Paella, Whole Fried Tilapia, Salad with Avocado and Yellow Rice. I was thoroughly satisfied. The food exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is perfect to dine with family or friends for dinner or lunch. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly. It's one of the nicest Mexican restaurants that I have visited in Gastonia. I highly recommend. BTW I met Misty at the nail salon next door who recommended this restaurant. I'm grateful. Great food.
