This place is awesome! There’s SO many flavors and treats to choose from it will blow your mind!I got a bunch of ice cream sandwiches- which are giant Oreo cookies with one scoop of ice cream between- you choose the ice cream flavor.I got peanut butter brownie for myself, sampled the cotton candy and birthday cake flavors from my kids’- they were all exceptional in terms of flavor and quality.I’ll certainly be back subs recommend that you do the same!

My daughter works here and she loves it. I myself love the butter pecan ice cream which is made daily in the store. They have so many flavors to choose from as well as hurricanes,Sundays, and they even have pup cups for your furry family members.

My family and I went in to get ice cream this past Saturday! They were out of almost everything and some of the staff were really rude! The girl with the boot on had a serious attitude problem! Looked at my nephew and asked what he wanted very loud and rude! And when he walked off because she was so rude she continued to look at him very hateful! We were just having a family night out and support a local business but will not go back until things change!

Pales in comparison to the other Handel location in Steele Creek. Skimps on toppings. When someone orders hot fudge sundaes, they want some hot fudge!

I went in Sunday for ice cream and was met with a terribly rude staff member, I was standing waiting on my order to be done when the staff member approached me and very rudely said "can you get out of the way so I can take guest!" she was not wearing a name tag but was in black with green bay packer earrings on, also skipping taking guest because she was "busy watching the game on her phone". Very disappointed in service.

Tonight was our first night trying Handel’s. We saw it had excellent reviews and wanted to support what we thought was a local business. I asked to sample the eggnog ice cream and LOVED it, and so did one of my kids. We ordered 4 milkshakes: one monkey business, one Oreo dough, one Oreo/eggnog, and mine, which was eggnog/rocky road. I paid, left a tip, and sat down. No sooner did I sit down than the girl behind the counter called me over to tell me they didn’t have enough eggnog for our milkshakes. I asked if she had enough for a half a milkshake. She said not really but she could try to scrape the rest out of the carton. I was confused as to why she gave me a sample of it, let me order and pay for it, THEN tell me she didn’t have enough. She had to look in the carton to get the sample, didn’t she? Anyways, I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I suggested that we just get our milkshakes without the eggnog ice cream, no big deal. THEN she comes back to tell me she also has no rocky road. I was really trying not to be a difficult customer so I asked if she had something comparable. She offered buckeye, and I asked if that was peanut butter heavy and she said no. I tried it, and it was peanut butter heavy l, which I didn’t want. I’m trying to be easygoing, I just picked a flavor I felt sure I’d like and went with chocoholic chunk. Once the milkshakes were made, we left with them.I was wrong about the chocoholic chunk. It tastes like somebody put entirely too much nesquik powder into some water, chilled it, and called it ice cream. It was disgusting and I ended up pouring it out. The consistency of all of the other milkshakes was the same as mine, it tasted like nothing more than melted ice cream, not 5 minutes after we left with it. There was a strange, viscous consistency, like a carton of ice cream that had been left in somebody’s trunk for hours. I had really high hopes for this place, but the customer service was unhelpful to say the least, and it was strange that she’d have me try a flavor only to suddenly be out of it. The chocoholic chunk ice cream and the monkey business ice cream were both disgusting and not as advertised. It’s clear the folks they have working there don’t know anything about what they’re selling, and idk who taught them how to make milkshakes, but that was not it. I’m baffled at how many good reviews they had, surely others didn’t have the same experience as myself but maybe I just got unlucky.

My favorite ice cream in the world. I am biased because I'm from Youngstown, OH, the origin of Handel's. Even still, I would put Handel's against any ice cream establishment. So many flavors and so many ways to try the flavors. I got the 4 scoop sampler with, blue monster, graham central station, vanilla Oreo, and pecan praline. Staff were super polite and accommodating. And the store was very clean!! Please give Handel's a try! You won't regret it!!

Waited half hour for order. One staffer only. Owner was in the back and could have helped. Ice cream is good but service is poor.

I went into this location to get a pint of their Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, when I got home there was 3 black hairs in the ice cream. Called the store, they offered another pint, however it’s a 30 minute drive and I didn’t feel like it was worth it.

The portly girl with the poorly dyed greasy black hair with blonde bangs should really learn customer service skills. She should also understand that being a trollop will get her no further in life than her stubby legs have gotten her. Rude customer service and will not be back and will let others know.
