Looks like they are closed. Stopped on a Saturday at 11 and NOTHING. Also, their phone wouldn't even ring. It's too bad because they have great reviews.

Ayyyooo the Food is Amazing!! Recently had them cater my birthday and everyone enjoyed the food. The buffalo chicken empanadas were the star of the show lol but in honesty all the food was delicious. I highly recommend them for any day of the week and for catering events! The service was impeccable and the staff friendly and helpful as always.

The food here is amazing!!! Absolutely amazing! The prices are very reasonable compared to the serving size. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I enjoyed the many optional seating area. It allowed you to find a seat at a table and chair that was comfortable to you. The staff was very considerate and nice. The machine had a technical problem when we ordered. So she manual wrote down our order and told us to go ahead and sit. Allowing us to pay later rather than make us wait for the the machine to start working. Very considerate. If your thinking about some place to eat this is it. Don't look any further.Vegetarian options: Has vegetarian/vegan meals available. The vegetarian/ vegan food is cooked just as well.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly place. I'df I had kids I'd bring them here all the time. I'd probably split one rice bowl between 2 kids. It's quite large for just on kid.Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheel chair friendly. They have a ramp from the driveway to the outdoor porch leading inside the front door. I would say that the seating might not be original wheelchair friendly but the staff ar will to move the seats from the table as accommodation.

This is not just a place for empanadas. They do have probably 10+ kinds of empanadas...fruit filled, chicken, meat filled. They have awesome main dishes like arroz con pollo (chicken with yellow rice), bowls with your choice of yellow or white rice, plus a protein, your choice of maduros (fried sweet plaintains) or fresh avocado. Some days they have "specials" like a bowl of choice with an empanada and a drink. Im a Cuban transplant from Miami and we cook many of the same dishes, so this place is one of my top go to places for a hearty Mediterranian type meal. One take-out meal is enough for two meals for me (gastric bypass patient). You can eat inside or outdoor. The family that owns Juli's are very friendly and willing to help you make selections of what to eat if you need help and they speak English very well. They also cater foods for events. Juli's is centrally located on Union Rd going north, just passed Dollar General and Arbys. They do deliver via one of the delivery services. You will need to check with them which one. If you like hearty, healthy food cooked fresh every day, please check out Casa de Juli in Gastonia.

Obsessed with this place! It’s seriously the most adorable and DELICIOUS! Everything we tried was phenomenal! And did I mention Fresh! Cannot wait to go back for more. A huge added bonus is you’re supporting a small, super cute and unique business. The owner is seriously the kindest person too, so friendly and welcoming.

Pleasantly surprised. It's literally a residential home and the inside doesn't feel like a restaurant although there's tables set up throughout the home. The menu is pretty small and for me a bit overpriced for Latin food. Rice and beans, carne and empanadas should not be expensive, but then again I'm from Miami so I'm not used to overpaying for Latin food. The service was friendly. I'm not crazy about eating my food out of plastic Tupperware especially if I chose to dine in. That's a big fail. Latinos want their food on a plate not a to go container. The food was good, my carne Guisada was delicious, at times I felt it was too spicy but then again I don't have a high tolerance for spice. The Arroz con Guandules was excellent! The maduros weren't sweet enough they definitely needed more ripening. It was disappointing that they didn't have red beans. The Toston Sandwich was delicious! A bit small but good flavor. The beef empanadas were also delicious! I love that they didn't have olives, or onions, or any other vegetables inside. Just beef and cheese yum! The natural juices were not good and were very watered down. The Parcha and the lemonade were both flavorless. And too expensive. $3.50 for a watered down Parcha is not cool. Overall I might return, but just for empanadas.

We stopped by to try them out for the first time and we were very impressed. The beef empanadas were fresh, delicious and very flavorful. We then tried the steak bowl with the arroz con gandules, the avocado, fried yucca and the steak. The rice was perfectly cooked, the steak was so well seasoned that every bite was a true joy. The avocados was fresh and very tasty. The portions were very large and my wife and I had plenty leftovers for later. The cinnamon apple dessert empanadas were very tasty and filled to the max. Great place, phenomenal staff, and the food was a trip down memory lane of my family's home cooking. Glad we found this place, we will be back, often.
