This place has amazing food and service every time! The wedge salad here is amazing. We also got the cheese bread starter and it is a must order! So delicious and cheesy! I had the filet medallions and they were cooked more medium than medium rare but still delicious! The wait was a bit longer than usual for food but the manager came over and apologized and checked on us. We were talking and fine with waiting. Definitely make a reservation as they stay busy but you can do a walkin or the bar if you don't mind waiting a bit.

Great meal in a really cool atmosphere. The staff was really nice and gave us information about the space and even recommendations on some of the more popular dishes. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend WCK... you won't be disappointed. Cheers.

The place is beautiful. It's converted theater. Just stunning. And food to go with it. Everything I tasted was exquisite. A must try.

Had lunch there today. This is a must stop in Gastonia. This restaurant is a converted movie theater. It is visually appealing. Open and spacious. The staff are friendly and professional. Our sever was wonderful and attentive. The braised short ribs were excellent and the creme brulee was on point. I will be stopping back in the next time I'm in the area.

Neat place for dinner, we sat upstairs which was pretty cool & unique. We had the meatballs as our appetizer, and I had the tenderloin medalions which was cooked as ordered and was really tasty with the sauce. They knew it was my birthday celebration and I was presented with a card which had wild flower seeds! Nice little touch!

My husband and I came here for dinner to celebrate my birthday; it was our first time here and everything was perfect... The ambiance, the food, the service, everything was 10/10! We were seated upstairs so we had a great view. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer but I guess there was a mix up because they also accidentally gave us cheese bread and both were absolutely delicious! I ordered the crab cake with parmesan spinach and my husband ordered the tenderloin medallions and it came with asparagus and potato cakes (he also ordered a side of mac & cheese), and again, everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!

First I must state that the entire team, from the time we arrived until the time we left were great. Very professional and friendly. Jeremy our server was excellent. The angry lobster appetizer was great. My wet aged ribeye steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The potato cakes were tasty. The pineapple upside cheesecake was also very good. The star of the show, the ribeye, was not cut/butchered properly though. That is to say the chef had left the silver skin on it which made for an unpleasant trimming and chewing experience while eating it.They were out of sauteed spinach and the creamed spinach was not very good. Also came out at room temp. All in all, I will return for the fun atmosphere and the great service and staff.

Loved this place! We met here for a business lunch and almost didn't do any business! The service was exceptional and the food was perfect. The shepherds pie was delicious as was the day's special soup. Be sure to listen to the specials offered. Even tho it was extremely busy, our server took his time with us and made us feel like we were special. He explained the renovations of the old movie theater into the restaurant and pointed out the movie playing on the wall above. This is downtown so street parking and paid lot parking apply. We will be back!

It was my wife's birthday and she wanted to go here. It was our first time dining here and we've heard so many good things about WCK. Our food was awesome. We accidentally received an appetizer that was meant for someone else. We thought it was complimentary, being that it was our first time dining there. We didn't touch it and asked if it could go to the appropriate people. They let us keep it. It was the best cheesy bread I've ever eaten. We also had another appetizer with fried green tomatoes and pork belly on top, as well as sweet corn sprinkled on. Absolutely amazing ?. We were given a brief history about the building WCK occupies. It was fascinating. Our entrees arrived, I had the medallions cooked medium and she had the crab cake. I have absolutely no complaints and we will be going back.

Beautiful atmosphere with amazing motif! Food was okay and very expensive. I think the food isn't as luxurious as the price but is on the road towards it! The ambiance is at the level of the price and the service was too however the food is just above average... I wouldn't return unless I found that the surrounding area didn't have better to offer. However great for special event and heightened dinning experience and for a first time experiencing this type of dinning. Great but could be better!

Our server Olivia was great. She gave us the history of the Kitchen and was very personable. Also very quick and helpful. The duck cigars were tasty, and the steak was delicious. The lady who brought our drinks (glasses, sweater) was also very nice. Definitely a place we will return.
