What a hidden gem about 20 minutes northeast of Greensboro! This will be a spot we will hit over and over on a beautiful sunny day or pleasant evening.Driving on 150 heading east on a quiet and winding road from north Greensboro, you wouldn’t expect a little oasis hidden out here. This winery has it all. You are greeted by the friendliest staff as soon as you walk in. Taste a few while you are given great details and insight about the wines and the winery itself, including the unique history of this establishment. I won’t spoil the details, as this adds to the pleasant experience.Grab a few glasses of wine, or a bottle, along with some tasty snacks and head to the backyard oasis. Shade and sunny areas throughout. A stage with live music on weekends just adds to the perfect day. A small lake compliments the picturesque scenery surrounding this little establishment.Need to give a shout out to Taylor for his amazing performance encompassing an eclectic variety of genres. From Creedance Clearwater Revival to Bob Marley, and every type of popular band and singer from the 70s to today, thank you!

Grove Winery is phenomenal! What a wonderful tasting experience! All the wines were great! It was hard to choose which wines to take home today! A definite 10 star experience AND its a North Carolina winery! Love it! Support local! Puts Childress to shame!

Came for a wedding and I was so impressed with this venue! Beautiful pavilion and wonderful atmosphere. I will absolutely recommend here for weddings and come back to enjoy one of your winery events. Cheers

Amazing winery, incredible owners and friendly staff. My family had an amazing time at their fall event and look forward to visiting again. There was plenty of room to let kids run around (while within eyesight), and it was beautiful. 100% worth the (gorgeous) drive there. I also highly recommend the chardonnay.

Day trip to this winery proved well worth the drive. Wine was delicious, lots of choices, lots of awards.Very nice outdoors setup complete with stage, plenty of seating, picturesque pond.We look forward to returning for an event in near future!

Went to an event with my husband.. noticed a LOT of sediment in my glass.. it was a reserved , so it was expensive and I requested a cheaper glass of wine without a refund.. so I payed $9 for a $6 glass.. and was still rudely told it "was impossible there was sediment" ok..

This is a small local winery that is big on good times! There's a large grassy area with a decent-sized pond on it. There's also a covered area with a concrete slab.On the grassy area is a small gazebo where bands play on some weekends. The costs are pretty cheap online, about $8. The price is about $15 when purchased at the time of the concert. There is a food truck when they have music. Last time it was a Labanese truck (see my review here yelp.com/biz/the-local-a…Our young granddaughter was with us last time during the concert, and she had such a blast running around wtih other kids on the lawn. We enjoyed just relaxing in the cool fall air, enjoying some wine and eating some food while listening to the band. This is a no-frills place, but it's not crowded and very laid back. We go here every 5 or 6 weeks and recommend this place.

Buzzy made the tastings so enjoyable. She has a fun, unique, and educational way of presenting the wines. The grounds are a perfect place to relax and enjoy a bottle.

In Winston-Salem, almost all of the wineries are north up 52 or west in yadkinville. This is northeast and about an hour drive above Mebane but it was worth the drive. I normally don't drink white wine but we had the chardonnay and it was very good. This is not a huge place but sits on a pond and has nice facilities for music events (check internet because it looks like they have several events).
