I'm not sure what their old spot was like, but the new place is awesome! Staff handled a busy dining room well and accommodated our group of four and our special dietary restrictions with kindness.

Tres golpes was good, mangu was a little bit dry, nachos were good, husband asked to add chicken to nachos since it was just eggs and $10 charge just for one piece of chicken it is a little bit pricey, we ordered a side of grits with butter it was terrible really dry daughter did not ate after first bite and we told our server and we still got charge $4.99

I highly recommend checking out Brisas when going on a date night or an outdoor lunch in Goldsboro, NC. My girlfriend and I really enjoy having dinner here. I have tried a variety of dishes here and one of my all time favorites is the chicken carbonara. The fried pimento cheeseballs with the tomato jam are to die for! The also have amazing empanadas! They typically have local live music on Thursday and Friday nights. I highly recommend stopping by Brisas when in Downtown Goldsboro!

Almost didn't stop here due to the mixed reviews. Glad I did. If you're looking for some Latin vibes whether it's food or music, this one will meet that need. I orderered their Pernil lunch special. My BIL is from Puerto Rico and theirs came close to his. Very tasty and the portion is more than enough. Also ordered their fresh stir fry veggie and for $3.99, it's a steal. The ambiance is very cozy with a bar and a small sitting area to the left. BTW, I forgot to mention that this located right in Goldsboro historic district. The people watching is a plus.

I ordered the pescador steak. It’s around $35 and comes with mash potatoes and veggies. The potatoes were bland and had no seasoning. The veggies were undercooked. Now I’m assuming the $35 cost comes from the quality of the steak. First impressions the steak is big and the tomato sauce is good but the cut of meat itself was very low quality. The amount of gristle and fat was ridiculous. The steak was not tender at all. I literally broke my plastic cutlery trying to cut it. Overall that meal was very expensive for being substandard. Save your $35 and get you a more quality cut of meat somewhere else. I will say the service and staff are always friendly. My mixed drink was delicious.

This place is a delicious place to eat! The tres leche french toast is to die for and is so yummy. The place is so friendly and very welcoming! My server Isabel did a great job and was so nice and attentive to our needs!I cannot recommend this place enough to Goldsboro natives or tourists!

We ordered food for catering and ordered the "pollo con crema de ajo" and the chicken sauce was full of too much salt. I was unable to finish the plate due to the severe amount of salt in my dish. Please tell the chef to take it easy with Salt.

I ordered CAMPESINO STEAK --Eight oz. Skirt steak & shrimp sautéed with peppers and onions served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus for $27.99.Shrimp, veggies, and mashed potatoes were great, but the steak was marinated in salt. The shirt steak tasted like salt, so I could not taste its flavor. The server brought out another shirt steak for me to try, but it tasted like salt also.We loved the fried Pimento Cheese Balls, my sister-in-law enjoyed the Cheshire Pork Chop, and my husband enjoyed his Sancocho. We received great service, and overall, it was a good place to eat lunch.

While our food was good, our waitress, ,Sam, was rude. She had placed our to go containers in her armpit while taking someone else’s order. I asked for containers that had not been in her armpit. She huffed off and came back with the check which she slammed down on the table.
