The food was excellent!! It was the best it has been in many, many years. We hadn’t been in a couple years because we hadn’t been satisfied with the food the last few times we visited, as we had previously been in all the years before. Everything we had to eat was delicious, hot, and plenty of it available. The band was good and we enjoyed that. My only complaint was during the band break they did some line dancing and that went on for a while. Two or three songs would’ve been plenty, but they just kept on and on. My parents left after the third song and I noticed more and more of the older patrons leaving as they started additional songs. The place had really cleared out by the time they finished the 6th or 7th one. Most people, especially older folks, don’t enjoy the loud rap or pop music and realistically that’s what a good portion of the customer’s there were. Dance participation had really dwindled down after the 4th or 5th song too. I’ve been coming to Sims since I was a child and, just like everything else, it has evolved and changed a little, but they’ve kept most everything just like their parents did it. When you’ve had that much success, there’s no need to mess with perfection. Keep up the great work!

This was a place that I loved to go to when my kids were small. We decided to take the grandkids last night, the quality of food has gone down and it wasn’t hot. The grandkids loved being able to dance with the Dollar Boys so that made up for what I paid for poor quality food.

They need to take BBQ out of the name. We eat something they called BBQ but it was dry and almost tasteless. Music was good even though we couldn't see anything from where we sat. It was cold enough I wanted a jacket because the windows only had plastic covering them and the only heat source I seen was a single fireplace in the center. The line to get your food was long so there was a wait after you paid. Parking lot is poorly lit and nothing more than sand, grass and mud. The staff was friendly. I don't think this is a place we will be returning to.Parking: Nothing laid out for parking. Just make a place where ever you make one. Parking area is just sand, grass, and mud. It's poorly lit as well.

Went as a company dinner. Food was a little lacking on taste and flavor but the staff and atmosphere were excellent, if you like this sort of venue. My 4 year old had a great time and absolutely loved the music and dancing.Parking: Plenty of parking space available.Kid-friendliness: Very kid and family friendly.
