I've heard a lot of good things about this place and I'm so excited I finally had a chance to visit. When I first got to the shop there were two employees waiting to open the door for me and gave me a very warm welcome. I'm not a big coffee drinker so it takes me some time to figure it what I want and the barista was so patient. It's also really nice that they give out little cards and words of affirmation (mine said kind) to let you know when your order is ready. My name always gets butchered somehow at other places. The coffee was really good and the service was even better. Really love the mission of this shop and will definitely be back!

best thing about being here is they're open for coffee and things that go with coffee including cookies, scones, sammiches, and non-pop brand tarts. as a bonus the coffee is actually very good even though it was way too hot to drink for the first ten or twelve minutes I was sitting ;-) clean comfortable little shop with a variety of seating options and table toppings: sinky chairs and straight backs to fit coffee tables, regular tables, and counter heights... with bits of art on the wall that are available for purchase. the coffee menu is pretty standard; there's about a dozen ways to get coffee-and-lightener and a similar number of non-coffee options for y'all no-bean odd balls :-) not like I'm going to make the trip up from lake norman on a regular basis but if I lived near here I'd be back.

Our visit was a great outing with my 10 year old daughter and her friend! Everything was great!....friendly staff, a spotlessly clean shop, delicious foods from local bakeries, and drinks both girls rated better than Starbucks! The best part though was supporting and exposing the girls to a business that is positively impacting the community and having them see how valuable people with special challenges can be.

They go above and beyond to give you a great experience from the time you enter up until you cross the threshold. Right away, you are welcomed by a barista opening the door for you. They also hold the door open for you as you leave too. The baristas are quite amicable and deliver excellent customer service. This cute spot offers pastries and sandwiches in addition to your coffee. While I have not tried the food items yet, I can attest that they serve a delicious cup of coffee every single time.

Our first time here was on March 3, 2024. We loved it so much we came back the next day. It’s a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and a better cause! I would like to say thank you to all staff members for a making us feel like locals and for making this place feel different and unique.
