Prices are through the roof. It's too expensive. $15 for 2 pastries. I won't be back.

This is a jewel of a bakery, boulangerie and patisserie, and Augustino also provides brunch staples such as delicious Quiches and Boerek.Open only 2 days a week and rather late ( 10 am), the faithful are lining up at the door for the goodies. No indoor seating, only outside picnic tables are provided.Crowded parking lot.

This bakery is a hidden gem, one of the best I’ve been to in a very long time. It’s located in a converted house across from the Greensboro Science Center and open only on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We meant to stop by a few weeks ago, but the line was out the door on a Saturday morning. Popular spot, and for good reason! We decided to show up Wednesday morning when it wasn’t as busy. Little did we know that we would have waited ten times as long had we known how great this place is.What an amazing variety of both sweet and savory items, in addition to their large selection of breads. It was hard to choose for our first time. We seriously wanted to try everything since it looked so good!My wife and I shared a cream cheese filled cruffin, jalapeño and cheese quiche, and a pesto prosciutto pastry. We were in heaven. Can’t emphasize enough how fresh everything tasted. We wanted more, and ended up bringing home 2 loaves of bread, a sourdough loaf and a Parisian baguette. Later that same day we ended up eating most of the bread, adults and kids included.Don’t miss out on this one. If you have numerous bakeries in your area and think this one is too far, believe me it’s worth the drive!

I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this place to everyone. They are true experts in their craft, and the bakery consistently delivers on taste. With countless options to choose from, you can't go wrong. I usually pick up a couple of my favorites and then try a few other items. One standout for me is the Cream Cheese Cruffin (sp?) – so definitely try that one. My only issue is that their "iced coffee" is actually an iced Americano, which for me I won’t order if I know I’m getting that instead of a coffee. Apart from that, this place definitely deserves a 5-star rating! Highly recommend

Sauerkraut roll used to be $8, is now $15. This is the same with pretty much everything else there. A ridiculous price for a small pastry. When each item is priced fairly, people will PAY MORE. We bought 2 things the last time because of the insane individual prices ($30 for TWO pastries..), when we would’ve easily spent $60 or more if they were priced fairly. The prices have ruined this place for me and my family so we will not be returning. Not that it will make any difference, I’m sure plenty of people are still happy to be ripped off.

This place is a true hidden gem. There was a line out the front door when we arrived, 20 minutes before they opened. Absolutely delicious pastries!

You wouldn’t know this bakery exists unless you turn up the street behind the gas station. The hours show they’re only open twice a week. Line in the morning was very very long but after coming back in the afternoon there was no line.Caramel cheesecake, croissants and morning bun was great. Some of the other items we got were just okay like the red velvet desert which was a bit dry.The croissants were probably the best in NC and a second runner up to those at Tartine in San Francisco. No ice cream during the winter. Nice picnic tables outside to sit at during a summer day.Friendly service from the young lady who helped with our order.

The absolute best bread and croissant bakery in NC!! Their pies and cakes are just the right amount of sweet. They use quality ingredients and the flavors and textures of their breads and pastries are like what you would find in europe. Love love love this place. Would love to see a meat and cheese quiche on the menu one day!

I've been to the best bakerys in New York, LA, Paris, Miami, Italy, Isreal, Germany, and Tokyo. Augustino Gusto is right up there with the best in the world. Lucky they are only open 2 days a week since even a large dose of Ozempic wont stop you from going everyday.
