During our first visit to BaoBao, we enjoyed an excellent lunch. I had the Char Sui Bix Lunch special. My wife had the Barbecue Beef Lunch Box special. My box arrived with an excellent veggie fried spring roll, dark rice and a fresh veggie salad. My wife chose rice noodles rather than regular rice. She regretted getting the cold noodles. We also took e a Bahn Mi sandwich for lunch the next day. I had the curry chicken Bahn Mi. She had the Char Sui Bahn Mi. She thought her sandwich was a complete fail as it had very little char Sui pork and was drowning in onions. My Bahn Mi was OK. I prefer the Bahn Mi's offered across town at the Bahn Mi Saigon deli.

Some places you just have to find the perfect dish. Once I found the spicy chicken soup at this place, I was sold. Everyone is very nice. The place is a bit small but was able to accommodate five of us with no issue. Can be a bit of a wait during dinner, so plan accordingly. Will definitely be back!

I have never eaten in but we get take out from here frequently. LOVE the food. I’m vegetarian/vegan(ish) and my husband is not and we both adore everything we’ve eaten.
I got the Steak Meatball Pho and it was delicious! I have had many bowls of Pho from many different restaurants and I have to say that this place has the most flavorful broth I've had! The veggies on the side were all very fresh too. There was nice soothing piano music playing while we ate. Overall, a fantastic quick bite to eat!

Incredible! The Steak Pho was bursting with flavor - rich broth, perfectly cooked steak, and fresh veggies. The House Spicy Chicken was delicious too - a great balance of spice and savory flavors. Can't wait to go back!

I come here for lunch a few times a week and I finally brought my husband one weekend and he loves this spot as much as I do. The curry chicken Bahn mi is delicious as well as the fried rice and pork egg rolls.

Steak pho was great. There is not a lot of seating, Maybe 12ish. So if there are people there already, I don’t suggest trying to dine in with a group. But there is a strategic “order one side, pickup on the other”. Kind of like how chipotle/subway does it. So you can fit a decent line in there. But overall the food is good. I know I am going back but I might be biased because I love pho!

The food was hot and delicious, the service was great, and the vibe was very chill. I had a chicken curry lemongrass bahn mi sandwich and it was so good. Crispy bread outside soft and chewy inside and all the flavors were perfect. My husband had chicken Pad Thai and it was also very delicious. Orange peach tea and a Vietnamese iced coffee to drink. Quick bite or dinner you won't be disappointed. Give it a try.

Best, most authentic Viet food I’ve had in so long. It’s hard to find a restaurant that does banh cuon cha lua (steamed rice rolls) and I was happy to see it here! Probably the best banh cuon I’ve had in awhile. Also got the bo kho (beef stew) and that was quite good as well. Family owned and lovely people! Love the decor that celebrates Vietnamese representation in the culinary arts as well.
