The place is clean and not too crowded when we went for early dinner. The pork dumpling and sauce were flavorful. The fish in the spicy fish soup was tasty; the soup's spice was tolerable, but the soup itself does not have much flavor other than the spice. I wish there was more vegetables in that dish. Our server was a young kid who needs to smile a little.

Gourmet China has been one of my spots for comfort Chinese food for a while now. Every dish I've ever had has been full of flavor, spice and tender. Usual go-tos are sticky battered chicken or mongolian-style like beef with rice. Every now and then I'll indulge in some seafood. I usually round out my meal with their egg flower soup. Loaded full of crunchy noodles, it's the most velvety soup you'll find. Their dumplings, rangoons and rolls are some of the best I've ever had.

This is Chinese food like Mao used to make. We were there for lunch. There is a very reasonable lunch menu with about 15 different plates that included an egg roll and rice. I got the Kung Pao Chicken and my wife got the Sesame Chicken. Both were excellent. The Hot and Sour soup was not the best rendition I've ever had but still good. Service was pleasant and fast. The restaurant was clean and a pleasant place to eat. It was the best Chinese meal I've had in years.

I've been living off Battleground/Lawndale for 10 years and never went here until recently. I was so happy I finally found them. Their food is delicious and the customer service is phenomenal. I really enjoy going to lunch here and they are my new #1 go to for Chinese! Highly recommend.

The only real authentic Chinese restaurant I've been to in Greensboro. This place is amazing. So happy to have finally found a spot I can go to regularly.

So glad we found this restaurant. We were in search of a great Chinese restaurant for a while when we tried it. Good is outstanding!

Let me tell you a tale of a completely ruined dinner. My husband and I have been ordering carry-out from this restaurant for a long time. Our order is always the same, and we always ask to substitute vegetables in their standard chow fun for "anything else available in the kitchen".Tonight we decided to dine-in instead of picking up our food, and we ordered exactly the same items we have been ordering from here dozens of times. This time, however, after putting in our order, we were told the kitchen will not prepare our order the way we want. When we asked for advise what to order instead, we were told they can't help. The server had a rather hateful attitude and made us feel very uncomfortable. Our night was utterly ruined and we will no longer be supporting this establishment. The $500 a month on take-out we habitually left here will go to a different restaurant.Greensboro is a small place, and if you keep mistreating your loyal supporters, you will go out of business.

Amazingly delicious authentic NY style Chinese food, who knew?! It's hilarious whenever I come to this special gem of a restaurant and see people order basic gas station type of Chinese food. You've got to try the authentic menu! I've tried the steamed dumplings Szechuan style, it was beyond delicious, just like NY Chinatown! Their cold noodles is mouth watering good! They will not disappoint!!! We order there weekly!

Ordered carry out and it was very good. Sesame Chicken with brown rice and Mongolian beef with fried rice, two egg rolls. Would order again - best Chinese carry out I have had in a long time. Would like to dine in sometime. Food was well packaged and ready on time.

Solid food. Quiet place. I got the sczheuan beef and it was nice and spicy to my liking. I also got some spring rolls and dumplings. Both were very good. I can tell they take pride in cooking well. Keep up the great work!

Great place! One of my favorites in Greensboro. My partner says the tri-pepper chicken is amazing. I'm a big fan of their seasame chicken and lo mein. Big fan all around.
