We went for my wife's birthday and we made a reservation for. Party of 6. Table was ready, server took our orders pretty quickly. I got the Cinnabon late and loved it. We split the Brussels sprout salad and the biscuit board and both were just great. Waitress did tell us food would take a while "which we are ok with as long as food is worth it" which it was. I got the corned beef hash and man that was the best one I've ever had. That rosemary aioli just added that extra touch. Everyone at our table loved the food. There was the apple French toast was awesome as well as the biscuits and gravy. I've been in the industry for over 30 years and this place served my family one of the best meals we've ever had. I would much rather wait an hour for my meal and it be worth it, than it taking 20 and most if the time it came out of a jar, box, or can. This place is well worth it. We will be back very soon and more frequently.

Naz was a phenomenal server with great suggestions. The food flar out blew us away. Deviled eggs should not be that good! The bacon wrapped trout makes you want to slap your mama, but you love her too much to do that. Incredible experience. We'll be back again and again!

Once again (third time out of four visits) we had to leave without eating. An hour+ in. I asked if the biscuits were ready before ordering the food and the answer was yes, but don't trust that. They never are. Service was lovely, no issues there. The kitchen has consistently been awful. Too bad, the one time I actually had an hour and a half to wait, the food was decent. But you can't charge $16 for biscuits and gravy that never actually come out. Don't waste your time. I'm always looking for a place for business dinners, but after so many tries and utter fails, this place is a hard no. If it were not for the kind service, I would have given zero stars.

Dear yelpers, I came out of semi retirement in order to review this place but stick with me it gets better at the end. Let's begin: Seating: so they have mismatched seating and majority of the tables are high tops. There are a one or two more comfortable high seat options for the thicker ladies reading this, but if not, you can wait for one of three booth tables. Drinks: We ordered flights of mimosas and each got different flavors but I have to admit that the only flavor worth it would be the lychee mimosa. Tip: the flights are basically an ounce or two each but for the price it was good. Service: She started off good but we made sure to inform our waitress of our food allergies of strawberries and bananas and they tried to be nice but failed and brought out little corn muffins made with strawberries and lemon. Cons: The biggest downfall was they "ran out" of silverware and gave us plastic utensils. I don't understand how a restaurant runs out of silverware and while a new group came in at least 1 hour after us and all received silverware at their table. When I inquired about it. Instead of taking the time to go get silverware she said they ran out and there was nothing she could do about it. Not sure how that makes sense. Sighs Now... aside from that fiasco... Food: is absolutely every form of excellence you can imagine. The morning burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. And for someone who doesn't eat bread, the biscuit and butter was phenomenal. The star of the show is 100 percent the French toast. If there's anything to travel to Greensboro, NC it's for this French toast! The food was everything a brunch should be and eventually someone came over with real silverware and apologized so it turned out ok. I would say... 9 out of 10 recommend.

Went to cille and scoe for brunch today for a friends birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and I really loved my Mocktail. we got the biscuit board to start along with the sweet treat of the day which was a maple blueberry and bacon cinnamon roll. Appetizers took a bit to come out and overall we were there for quite a while. For brunch, I got the black chicken Caesar salad and it was really good and unique. The plates themselves, including the appetizers are fairly expensive. The food is great, but just know you're going to spend a lot of time and money.

Ehhh, I'll get straight to the point- hour wait for food, overpriced entrees with sides sold separately, and sewage smell throughout visit. It is frustrating when you have high hopes for trying a new local spot because it can be a hit or miss. The food was good, I will say that. Worth the wait time? No. Our waitress did inform us it takes a while. That was my mistake for taking that as an exaggeration. For what we had ordered, it should not have taken the time it did to be prepared: - Chicken & waffles ($18) - Chicken biscuit ($16 ..... and that's no side included) The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful, but that was also a take away when the smell reeked of sewage towards the back of the establishment where we were sat. Staff is friendly including the hostesses. Our waiter, Jordan, was very sweet! She gave us a backstory on the restaurant itself and I loved it. I would not return but many enjoy this style of dining. This was the third time I have eaten here in the last year or so. The first time was an absolute surprise and delight. The second time was also very good. Recently my friends and I had tickets to a 2:00 show at Tanger, so the day before I made a reservation in the morning for a table at 12:00 noon the following day. I was very disappointed when we were offered seating in front of the cooking area looking into the kitchen. We ended up sitting outside, which was fine. But we did not get our food until 1:25. We ordered the grouper which was not fresh although the potatoes they put it on were good and covered with cheese. We did not have time to eat our food...so gobbled some of it down and ran to the show. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I would guess they were not on time to work that day to prep for a Sat. lunch crowd. Our waitress was nice and knew our dilemma but could do nothing about it. So sad, I wanted this to be my new favorite place to eat!

We had a reservation for 1:45. We got sat immediately. However this is where things started to unfold. We waited around 15 minutes to be greeted by our server. We immediately put our food in. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 3 minutes for our Pancake, French Toast, Grits and Sausage… our server did communicate to us that this restaurant made everything from scratch. However no one told us that we would be waiting over an hour for our food. We had multiple staff and even the manager continuously apologize to us for the “long wait”. When the manager came to speak to use she was very passive aggressive and not sympathetic at all. We got a “sorry for the long wait” then walked away. And later came back asking “what do you want me to do to make you all happy” insanely rude. However when we would ask for updates on our food the staff and manager then shifted to saying that an hour plus for waiting for food is normal… it became confusing because they were just apologizing for the wait? Anyways. My friend ended up not liking his French toast and thankfully they took it off our bill. I did not like my pancake so at the end of the day we ended up waiting over an hour for sausage and grits! Amber the host was phenomenal, my friend and I were pretty upset but she talked us down and even offered us a complimentary cinnamon roll. Amber, thank you for making our terrible experience better. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Our waitress was absolutely delightful, there is not doubt in that, but I think this restaurant lacks front of house expertise. A good chef is not the only thing that will make a restaurant successful. They have good intentions but when something doesn’t hit the mark with a customer, management doesn’t take proper steps to ensure they’ll return. We have been to the restaurant a few times and unfortunately I do not think we will be coming back.

Service was courteous but sporadic. It was really loud considering the restaurant wasn't fully seated. While the food was tasty, it felt overpriced for the portion sizes.I will say the cornbread was excellent.

I went here for brunch with my girls on St. Patrick's Day and it wasn't everything I hoped it would be. For starters, we had a reservation at 10 and arrived at 9:55. When telling the hostess this, she responded with "It's not 10." pretty rudely and made us wait outside. By the time our reservation was ready, we were seated indoors when we specifically requested outdoors. The food was pretty good except for the biscuit I ordered; the sausage tasted like it had absolutely no flavor and was pretty much inedible. There were several flies buzzing around our table which was pretty gross. I liked hearing about the story of the restaurant and how everything was made from scratch; however, I most likely won't be returning here. Not a bad place but you can find better breakfast spots in Greensboro.

The wait time was very long due to an unscheduled party showing up.The owner refused to give us a complimentary dessert due to our 1/12 hour wait, plus we paid for the food.

This restaurant is a unique experience. The menu is interpretive of comfort food, but with a twist. I can tell the Ingredients are more locally sourced from farms. For example: the wings were TINY but delicious. This tells me the chickens aren't the gmo hormone injected monstrosities of the commercial farm industry. The vibe is moderately upscale but cozy... I like the homey feeling of the service. I can see this place may not be for everyone's taste because it's a bit expensive but serves mostly food that is usually inexpensive but I think that's because it costs more for quality fresh and local ingredients sometimes. I think the idea of making those inexpensive comfort foods we take for granted moreso from scratchwith quakity ingredients is kind of the point? The portions are variable. It's more for a special occasion in my opinion.
