The super delicious coffee and the glazed cinnamon roll. The divine place to taste any dish in company.

This coffee shop offers more than a great cup of Joe. The baristas are wizards with their signature drinks. I had the Sophya, and it was great! In addition to the coffee, the shop is decorated in a way that makes anyone feel comfortable. It's a great hangout spot too!

It’s a shame that such a wonderful atmosphere for a coffee shop isn’t complimented with corresponding service. The layout is nice with comfortable chairs and couches. Very laid back and dog friendly which is excellent- however. Even when there’s no one in the place it seems to take ages to get a drink due to understaffing. Theres only ever one employee on duty and those ive run into arent very friendly. If you dont mind waiting a while for your drink its a great place to read a book, just needs some help in the service department.

Manny is the best batista around! Always smiling, greeting me by name and knows my drink when I walk in.

Good coffee but the male barista with the dark hair and goatee acted annoyed when taking our order, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere.

I'm so excited I finally had an opportunity to check out Common Grounds! I LOVE it! Such a cool and cozy spot. I came in to meet a friend and get some work done on a Monday morning. Plenty of spots to sit and work, or just enjoy your coffee (or beer!). There are tons of options on the menu with cool names and concoctions. The barista was so kind and suggested the Marilyn Monroe to me, I am so glad they did! It was DELICIOUS. Perfect combo of white chocolate and raspberry with tasting artificial. Their prices are also very good. If you check in with your phone number, you receive a discount AND a free bagel till 11! I love that there's a parking lot right next to the holding reserved for CG patrons, unlike many other places downtown. A definite draw. The inside is very inviting, and the patio is also nice. I can't wait to go back! My new favorite coffee shop downtown (and maybe even in the whole city!).

This is a very cool little coffee shop. They have a large variety of custom drink offerings in addition to offering all the classics. During my last visit, the barista was willing to make adaptations to make a drink I wanted, in spite of it being off menu. However, I ended up going for one of the posted barista-recommended specials. The drink I chose was an iced oat milk coffee with raspberry, rose, and pistachio flavoring. It was sweet without being overly sweet. I was able to get my drink quickly and was happy with my experience. I didn't dine in, but there was ample seating and relaxed atmosphere. I could see myself hanging out in the space for hours on my laptop. One detractor is the (sometimes) challenging parking situation, though that is to be expected downtown. Also, I was in the cafe during a special event with a musical guest and it was unbearably loud. However, I'll try to come during another event and report back. Overall, I would recommend this spot for a quick coffee. Supporting local businesses is always a good move!

Stopped into Common Grounds in Downtown and the barista was very patient and helpful. His drink recommendations were on point and you can tell he loves his job. I loved the ambiance, I can stay in the cafe all day. Eclectic design and delicious coffee. I tried the Bernie Mac and I wish I had gotten a large. Definitely recommend stopping in!

You belong here. You are wanted here. You will be treated like a valued customer and friend by this magnificent staff, and the beautiful drinks and baked goods are an added bonus. If a big hug from someone you thought you lost long ago was a coffee shop, this would be the coffee shop. Come and embrace the Downtown Common Grounds. You will love it, and they will love you back. ALL are welcome.Dietary restrictions: Non dairy options available!

We enjoyed Downtown Common Grounds. Very laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff. We had the frozen hot chocolate and my son loved it. He liked it so much that he got a brain freeze ? I got the Robin Williams Latte with banana and dark chocolate and I asked for oat milk. I liked my drink. I would like to try other options sometime as it was difficult to make a decision. ?
