Big fan of the atmosphere, people, music, and selection on any given day. But I had to update my review after hosting a private event here to celebrate my birthday. Best birthday party I’ve ever had! We used their projector to do funny/interesting powerpoint presentations, and we made paninis on site. The environment was private, comfortable, and uplifting, and guests had everything we needed and more. I felt supported in my vision for the event and like I could relax and enjoy the experience. I know the crew personally, but I am confident they would have gone just as far above and beyond for a first time guest. Can’t recommend enough

Great to-go selection for single beers, and the owners (Israel) and bartender (Hunter) make the experience. They serve great beer on tap from around the country, but you can tell they love what they do, and it rubs off on you. Great vibe from the minute I walked in until I left. Highly recommended!

New owners, less beer. Not the same gate city growlers from this time last year. They do have a long draft list but it’s nothing worthwhile or rare. Best of luck to the new establishment though.

My husband and I love going to GCG! The staff is super friendly and they always have a big variety of beer as well as wine and seltzers to choose from. They have games available (foosball, pinball, board games) so it's very family friendly too. My husband and I will bring in take-out on a weekend afternoon or get a drink there after work.
I love the variety at Gate City Growlers! I love trying new beer on tap and the new bottled sours! my favorite that has been at the shop twice is the peanut butter and jelly mixtape sour! The atmosphere is relaxing after a long day at work and a nice place to meet friends for a few drinks any day of the week!
