Disclaimer: I HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE WINSTON-SALEM LOCATION!I'm not sure if the other reviewers were dining at the same establishment, but this place is not deserving of the 4.7 stars it's obtained on Google. My wife and I tried May Way out on a recommendation from a friend. The dumplings are clearly not handmade, and lack any authentic flavors whatsoever. I'm pretty sure they bulk buy from the Super G frozen food isle, which I ironically purchased from a week prior to trying out May Way. If you're anything like me, you typed in "Dim Sum Greensboro" hoping for a blessing from above. The second star is strictly for the pricing, as they have the "starving college student" model figured out.

No sign that I saw, so a little hard to find, but man! I've never had better dumplings in my entire life. Had the pork dumplings, chicken dumplings, steamed pork bun, and peach buns. Delicious. Awesome. They were def homemade. I will make this place a regular lunch stop from now on.

This place is absolutely my favorite dumpling place!!! Has been for years when my best friend shared this place with me when I visited her 3-4 years ago. Following the first time I ate here (in 2017) I fell in LOVE! I always craved it and prior to moving in NC, any time I visited my friend I would request we go here. This place is hands down one of my favorite dumpling places and the sauce that goes with it is one of a kind!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

I like this little place in the wall. I always get 6 dumplings Atlantic and I like to try other thing on the menu and it fills me up good. Its worth the price. If you like Chinese food, great place for family and college students alike.

This review is for bubble tea only!! The bubble tea is a slush. Boba were well cooked and remained soft and chewy even after cooled down by the drink! The flavor was strong and tasty (we had a lychee drink and a taro drink). One star deducted for non-customizable drinks (usually bubble tea shops allow for decreased sugar / sweetener - this shop didn't post about it as an option and we forgot to ask). The tea tastes very creamy, not sure if it is lactose free dairy (also not described in their menu). Cost is on the higher end for the size, about $4.50 each including tax, but still acceptable. We will return!

Best dumplings in Greensboro. Located at the eastern edge of the UNCGB campus, this restaurant has a parking area next to it and currently offers take out only. We ordered an assortment of the pork and chicken dumplings along with custard buns and steamed rice. All of the selections were hot and fresh. The dumplings come with a sweet and spicy sauce that compliment the dumpling filling. The BBQ buns ordered were cooked perfectly with ample fillings. All dumplings were reasonably priced and service was prompt. Don't forget the boba tea when ordering!

Went in cause I was walking around UNCG and this spot is right off campus. Wanted to try a dumpling but none of the options were what I was interested in trying. I thought a place titled "dumplings" would have more dumpling options but I digress. The beef noodle soup was a good portion. The takeout container was a quart size. The noodles tender. The beef okay in tenderness, a little dry to be in soup. I had to add some extra seasoning when I got home but that's fine because the broth is still good and well made.

I studied abroad in China and loved the street food there. I hadn't been able to find similar stuff in NC until I came here. I had the MaLa Cold Noodles and a Hot Steam Veggie Bun. They were both delicious! This is a small detail, but the peanuts scattered in the noodles were so crispy and well-seasoned, which I've tried to make at home before and always failed. COVID precautions were taken seriously. I will definitely be back!

I was hesitant to check this place out given the mixed reviews, but it was so good! The sweet and sour spicy cold noodles were the favorite--I would happily eat that pretty much any time. It was all of the things in the name, but the tastes were perfectly balanced and the noodles were yummy too. The sticky rice with chicken and mushroom was really tasty. It's usually a dim sum offering, so it was nice to see it on the menu. The fried chicken dumplings were also good, with one caveat... The sauce (which was delicious) just rolled right off of the dumplings because of the oil. I get that fried dumplings require oil, but I've never seen any that were completely waterproof like this. Not even one little bit of sauce would adhere to the outside. Don't know if it needed a less dense oil or to be fried for a shorter time, but like I said, they were still good. Would have been awesome with the sauce provided though! I now want to try everything else they make. (Take-out only for the time being, just fyi)

CALL AHEAD! We made the mistake of coming in and ordering right when they opened. We had to wait over an hour to get an order for two. The lady was by herself which we felt bad for but then reading the comments it seems to be a regular thing? The food was good but not over an hour good

We enjoyed our takeout from May Way! The veg spring rolls were crispy and delicious, and the cold noodles were great! We had a variety of dumplings and buns and the favorites were the fried chicken dumplings and the veggie buns. Will definitely go again!
