I went to Mimi’s Saturday, April 13th with two other individuals for my birthday at lunch and asked to be seated outside. The rude lady at the front said she wasn’t going to open the outside seating and proceeded to tell a waitress to seat us inside. I advised I would not be eating there and took my business where customers are actually being accommodated. We ended up going to the Cheesecake Factory where they accommodated outside seating with no problem. Just lazy and rude at Mimi’s and are willing to lose business rather than simply do their job.

I am leaving a negative review as when we were sat down in the back by the window I look out and there are several bugs in the window. I complain to the server and told him they needed to clean the window sills. Fast forward one week I go look in the window sill where we were sitting still several stink bugs in the window!!!! DISGUSTING!!!! Clean your window sills. No one wants to see that when enjoying a meal.

The food here is beautifully plated. The menu had a great variety. I had the meatloaf, which was a good mixture of beef and pork and seasoned bread crumbs. The Augratin potatoes were good, but missed being great by adding just a little more cream and cheese. The rice medley was lackluster. If the rice was seasoned like a pilaf, it would have been more flavorful.

Wow I remember I used to go to Mimi's all the time when they first opened in Columbus, Ohio. I have been to this restaurant quite a few times and ordered take out. The food seems to have really gone downhill more to just a standard chain restaurant and that's disappointing to me. The prices are outrageous for the portions. I recently had ham which was tought and dry and the beans were soft and mushy (they were new beans so should have been cooked lightly). The corn chowder has absolutely no flavor and I can't figure out why, maybe some bacon or ham would help but it was marginal. The quiche is super small for the price but fairly consistent in taste which is nice. Overall, sorry to say I won't be going to Mimi's anymore unless I don't have a choice for some reason. I don't think this is a "this restaurant" problem, sadly I suspect is a chain or supply issue. I have found staff overall pleasant and kind though. I'll add pictures when I find my phone.Dietary restrictions: Food is bland so if you like bland food, you found it.

Food was mediocre at best! Staff was hard to deal with! Did a online order they apparently didn’t have a item we ordered any more and couldn’t issue a refund or replace the item with another item told me I had to call whomever I did online order with. So had to do a whole other Oder and was told we couldn’t substitute the side which was an item we had already purchased in the other order… blah blah it was a mess and unpleasant food wasn’t great either. 1st and last time there! Just stick with Cheesecake Factory they always please and their customer service is great over there.
