Delicious cocktails, incredible service and outstanding meals (steaks) We will go back and sit outside when the weather allows It was divine
Excellent experience as always. Had a new waitress that had only been working for 3 days and she was excellent. This is our go to date night restaurant and we have never been disappointed

My second trip was as satisfying as before. An incredible menu with each of my party ordering differently and all three of us were equally impressed. A large desert offering as well - more extensive than most. Quaint restaurant in an old house with most of its period fixtures an architecture intact.

MJ's Restaurant was excellent as always! My wife and I really enjoy eating at MJs. The food and service is always good. The restaurant has a nice "bistro" setting, and their large patio out back is a very pleasant place to dine when the weather is suitable.

We have been to MJ's several times in the past and have wondered why we don't go more often, since we've always had a great dining experience... well, this visit was no different than the others... great food, pleasant, knowledgeable wait staff, good atmosphere... hopefully, we'll take our own advice and come back much sooner next time!
Mjs is a great dining experience and the food is always exceptional. The fried oysters app is some of the best you'll have. Sea scallops were cooked to perfection as well as the risotto

I first had the Apple goat salad as appetizer Then for entree I had the most delicious salmon on risotto. My husband had the clam strip special appetizer. His entrée of choice was the scallops. We loved our meals and last we had a delicious crème brûlée cheesecake with coffee. Chef Tad was most charming and we loved visiting with him. Our waitress was Rachael and she was so good at her job. She was also fun to talk to. We are looking forward to getting back to MJ‘s. I promise you if you go, you won't be disappointed.

Dined with freiends at MJ's last night. We don't eat out much and hadn't been here since pre-pandemic. We've always liked MJ's and would still highly recommend it. The calamari appetizer was delicious. The manhattan cocktail was excellent. My swordfish was beautifully prepared and quite delicious. The only thing I was less enamored with was the rock shrimp mashed potatoes. For me, the potatoes would have been better without the shrimp. All in all, a delightful evening.

OMG! MJ's restaurant out-did themselves yet AGAIN! The food was totally awesome. We had catch of the day Mahi with shrimp mashed potatoes. YES! there were bite-size shrimp "IN" the mashed potatoes! We also had salmon and one new dish QUAIL which was surprisingly VERY GOOD according to the person who ate every last bite of it ... as did the other two of us with our choices! The drinks were outstanding and the desserts very tasty as always. AND, GREAT SERVICE they have spoiled us with for years. I kinda wish I could go there every day of the week.

My wife have a new place in GSO for our fine dining experiences! Tad and the crew are awesome! My wife had the salmon with asparagus and mash. She said the salmon was cooked perfect to a melt in your mouth tender, asparagus was perfect and the mash was spot on. I had the Bistro Steak with Parmasean truffle fries. Steak didn't even need a knife! Excellent taste and temp and the truffle fries were excellent to boot! Ashely our waitress was very attentive and had excellent advice about everything on the menu! Crab dip was spot on well Ashely!

My reason for my low stars on food, was based on what I got, I wasn't that hungry so I got an appetizer, didn't really like that item. But others stuff looked good. I will be back to try again.
