Didn’t realize this place was here till spotting it out of the corner of my eye! Cute place with chill vibes and a selection of beers (and a handful of wines, spritzers, and sodas). Great service. Bonus point for having a parking lot! ?

Super cool venue, hangout & the kindest folks running the joint!!! Great selection of brews & non-boozy options for us non-boozy people too.

A hidden gem. Very cozy little bar with a great selection of beer, cider, seltzers. Great selection on tap too!! Snacks for sale. Local art on the wall. Bartenders were super friendly! Super hip, casual vibe.

Such a cute little bar next to The Idiot Box! Great place for pre or post show drinks or just a spot to hang out. Great local beer selections with many different styles for everyone to enjoy! I recently had a few pernicious IPAs and they were super hoppy and fresh. If beer isn't your thing, there are so many types of wine and seltzers to enjoy!

Owned by the incomparable Jenny Stencel, former comedic traffic reporter from channel 12 news turned business owner and standup comic, Next Door Beer Bar is like having a bar in the comfort of your own home living room. Casual, down to earth and cozy, this local watering hole has 20 draft craft beers on tap in an assortment of flavors and seasonal appeal. 80% of the beers are home grown in good ole North Cackalacky. So Next Door supports our local beer industry! There are no pretenses about this place except to come, meet some new friends, relax and drink great beer! There is outdoor seating and parking lot accessibility in front of the beer bar next to The Idiot Box on N. Greene St.

Nestled on N. Greene St., this beer and bottle shop is a nice escape after a long day. The bar is connected to The Idiot Box Comedy Club, so all the bartenders are comedians. Which means your drink comes with a smile and entertainment. Now. Don't like force them to make jokes. Just let them give you affordable beer, seltzers, and wine and thank the gods that there's a watering hole where everyone is ready with hot takes and hilarious convos. Stop by. Drink up. This place is a blast.

Where everybody knows your name.... I love this place so much! The atmosphere is super chill most of the time, and there are frequent events here because it is owned by the same people that own the Idiot Box which is a few feet away. It is definitely the perfect place to hang out for a bit after going to see a show and I highly recommend the outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. They don't serve liquor but they do have a pretty large selection of beer, wine, seltzers, and ciders so there is something for everyone. They rarely get super busy (Except for right after shows and when the Brew Peddler comes through) so it is the perfect place to relax and have some beer and conversation. The best little bar in town!

Locally owned and operated. Very good spot for anyone looking for good craft beer (bottle and draft) and a relaxed environment.

If you're looking for your next neighborhood bar, Next Door is a great option. Everytime I've been it's never been super busy, which is what I look for in a bar. It's refreshing to be served as soon as I'm ready instead of fighting through a crowd. All of the bartenders are super funny and easy to talk to too. Jennie, Steve, AJ and Aldon are all great company when enjoying a cold drink. There is a decent selection of beers on tap with lots of great local NC options. If that doesn't suit you, there's plenty of other beers, setlzers, and wines in a bottle or can in the cooler. They also have some quality wines to chose from. I've definitely had their vino verde on a couple of occasions. They also have some non-alcoholic options like sodas and La Croix as well as a couple snack options (mostly bags of chips but sometimes there's a candy dish - beware, it's a trap). All of their prices for their beverages are super reasonable. It's even ridiculously well priced if you're interested in renting the space. I've rented the space for an ugly sweater party for my young professionals group, and it was perfect. They have a few table top space heaters outside which makes it a great choice if you're trying to socially distance even in the colder months. Next Door is the most convenient for a post-show beverage if you find yourself at the Idiot Box. Both businesses are owned by the same folks, and I'm happy they've finally found their home in Greensboro. I look forward to returning again soon for drinks and a show!

Bartender seemed to not really care if people came in or not.
