Food was good, but the drinks were not good. Waiter kept telling us there were 2 shots in my jumbo margarita yet it tasted like a virgin drink. In fact our whole table felt like there was no alcohol in their drinks. Those who did get a virginity drink had to poor water in it because it was too sweet. If you want a good drink, go to Casa Vallarte. They do you right.

We actually got kicked out of the restaurant last night and another table did too. Less than one hour there. My husband hadn't even finished his beer. They said they had a "line". When we left, there were 5 high school boys at the reception area. That was it. And the food was subpar. Less on the plate than usual and service bordered on rude. Great that their business is so good that you can kick a regular patron out the door. Too many places in Greensboro to spend our dining out dollars.

2nd time eating here. First time food was good. 2nd time chips were stale, the waiter said they only make one batch in the morning and sits out the rest of the day under a warmer. Then he said they are free. Opens at 11.. I was there at noon) but okThen I ordered a taco Salad -chicken. It was literally a ball of chicken thrown in there. I said something to the waiter, he said it's all like that and you have to ask them to shred it. (He didn't know I just ate here 2 weeks ago) needless to say. I'll NEVER come back. Last time they get my money.

Quality food and great patron service are two important ingredients that promote restaurant success. Well, I visited Santa Fe for the first time and didn't experience the latter. The hostress who showed us to our table had such an unpleasant disposition I wondered if we should even eat there. We asked if a booth was available- not an uncommon request and was met with a resounding "No" with attitude to follow. We decided on the table near the corner of the restaurant as we didn't want to sit center stage. The hostess agreed but as punishment it came with little to no service. I noticed the manager mealing around asking other customers if they needed anything but never once glance in our direction. After sitting for some twenty minutes with no waiter service, we left. But not without speaking with the manager about poor customer service.

As I stood and waited at the front to be seated, or even seen...the more time passed, the more I was saying to myself "just get back in your car and drive two more minutes to Luna". I should have and unfortunately ended up having lunch at Santa Fe. I went a good hour and a half after lunch hours and there were merely 10 patrons overall (4 then left/finished before I ordered). A lot of empty seats at that point so I was trying to figure out where the host was even. The food....I haven't eaten here in maybe two years but do not remember it being bad like this. I ordered the Huevos Divociados....I couldn't even give it a 1 out of 5. It's a fried tortilla cut out with a hole in the middle where they put the "fried" egg in. The sauces they put on top were some of the worst things I've tasted in any Mex/Tex-Mex restaurant. The rice was really bad as well - bland but yet had a strange sweetness to it, like the actual taste of sugar type of sweet. I was ready to go and waitress was really nowhere to be found for the longest before I had to call on a different waiter for the check. Overall, probably wouldn't return..would just go to Luna's over there in the area. Chips and salsa were the best things I ate there...which is telling.
