I drove into Greensboro with the intention of grabbing a quick slice of quality pie. The reviews were solid so I felt it was a safe bet. I got two slices ... the "Grandma" and a regular pepperoni slice. The Grandma was not bad. No complaints. Cooked well but i would give it a generous 3 star rating. The NY pepperoni was undercooked. No color on the crust at all and loaded with cheap, greasy cheese. It was not good at all. Far too greasy and barely any taste of bread and tomato. For a college kid late night snack, probably OK. But not something I would ever get again. Rating on this slice is 1 star. All of the pizzas lacked color and frankly, character. After looking at them all I would go for their Mac and cheese pizza. That actually looked good. Overall 2 stars unless you are a drunk UNCG student.

We've eaten here twice - subs the first time and pizza the second time. Both times we got excellent quality including fresh ingredients, homemade dough, and large portions. The pizza is 2-3 levels above their nearest competitor (NYP). Highly recommend you try it. Their prices are very competitive for the UNCG area. We'll definitely be going to Slices again!!

My wife and I have visited this place for a couple of years and have NEVER been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and patient (there are a LOT of options). The crust is the best I've had around here and they're not heavy handed with the sauce. I really like that their toppings usually cover your whole slice so every bite is tasty. Also, their lasagna is so good, we usually get enough for that night and more for lunch the next day. Can't think of anyone's lasagna that can give them a run for their money. We always get our slices for takeout but the place is clean and has a chilled, relaxed vibe. Highly recommended!Parking: There are a few spaces out front that are shared with several businesses. If you know Tate Street near UNCG, you know you basically have to "luck up" to get a space in front. There are a few more spaces around back (also shared with other businesses). We've never not been able to find a parking spot but it's a challenge sometimes
