The food here is very affordable and good for the price. I never wait more than 5 minutes after getting there to get my food. Service is prompt but not always friendly, though it's understandable because the staff seem to have their hands full. Decoration is sparse but not unpleasant. Overall very cozy and a good place to eat.

The place has been packed every time I have been there. If you want some great home cooking. This is a great place to go. People waiting in line to get seated. People waiting in line to get take out orders. The place is clean. They work hard to serve you. Another restaurant to add to my favorites. Reminds me of Habley's Hearth. Thank you for continuing to serve the community. Nice to get home cooking when you want it.

Eve, Eve, little evil !

The chicken in my chicken sandwich slid right out of the bun, and into my lap due to all the mayo in the sandwich. MESSY! And the fries, which I asked for extra crispy, weren't.

I have been here a number of times on Fridays for their Flounder special. It is excellent and with very generous portions. The huspuppies, fries and coleslaw are outstanding. And many people know this and so be be prepared to wait but it is well worth it. They jump on every table that empties so the next people can sit down. Have also been there several days when the special was Meatloaf and enjoyed that just my h.
