Taco Mama is a great casual Mexican place to grab a bite for lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend the "Yo Mama" burrito basket; it's quite filling and is very flavorful. There is a wide selection of choices and the atmosphere is always jovial. I love the windows and the good natural lighting that comes in. They have great beer choices as well if you wanted to pair something with your meal.
What a great find. We were in the area and were just going to visit another popular joint in the same shopping center, but decided to try something different. So glad we did! Very impressed and will be back. The atmosphere is what initially impressed me. It was a nice day so they had the windows open with the screens down, and there was a nice breeze throughout the entire place. I was really hungry and my spouse was not too much so against my intuition we only ordered one order of nachos. They came out piled high. They tasted grape! They are made with Cantina chips, which was a nice change of pace. Between the two of us, we couldn’t even finish one of the nachos.Vegetarian options: Easy to make anything vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Most things can be build or customized.Kid-friendliness: I don’t see why they couldn’t be here.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or anything, plenty of space in bathroom. no issues I see.

Wish I had ordered something different than fish tacos. There was not enough fish pieces to really taste the fish. Plus the fish was very thin. Cheesecake Factory does fish tacos better. Battered fish is better. The chips are very good. My first time here. I will be back to order something different. My friend had shrimp tacos. She said they were very good.

This place is great. I came with a big group and the benefit of coming here, everyone walks up to the register and orders, they give you an order number. Red number block for closed tab, yellow number block for open tab with alcohol. You seat yourself. They bring food to you with your order number. So you don't have to worry about having a big party and a long wait and bad service. My food, a shrimp quesadilla, was amazing!! Lots of chips and your order comes with guacamole and salsa and sour cream with no extra charge. Not a huge restaurant, but big enough. Loved it and will define back!Vegetarian options: Many items can be made for vegetarian preferences.Dietary restrictions: You can let them know you need gluten free and they will accommodate.Parking: Might have to park a little far because this is a shopping plaza with many little businesses. Not bad parking but it might be difficult if you have people who have disabilities or limited mobility.
Always good food. It's not haute cuisine, but it's exactly what it purports to be...just good Mexican food.

Cool, funky modern taco shop / bar in a strip mall.They have music themed decoration and garage doors that open when it's nice outside.I got the house lime margarita with the spicy rim and it was legit!My custom burrito was huge! It was also amazing and I barely finished it.I didn't have room for the chips and salsa, so I'll take them home for later.I had the Mexican Mac and cheese for my side and I did enjoy a few bites but I have some to take home.I recommend you give it a try.Vegetarian options: You can add or subtract literally 21 vegetarian toppings to your burrito, quesadilla or tacos.They also have marinated tofu... I'm not sure if they offer vegan cheeseParking: Be careful when you are backing out of your space.And be mindful of others backing out while you are trying to park. It's a long skinny rectangle shaped lot and I'm sure fender benders happen often.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level doors.
I had to grab a very late lunch and happened to be right by Taco Mama so I stopped in, and I'm glad I did. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to order, nothing cold or greasy as can be found in a restaurant during normally slow times of day. The tacos were downright delicious! Taco Mama serves fresh homemade crispy taco shells and the same goes for their chips with the salsa. I had the chorizo refried beans and the only thing I would change is for the cook to add some cheese on top. The house-made salsa wasn't my personal favorite but I didn't hate it. I could taste the lime flavor in it, which I loved, but I prefer more spice and chunkier tomatoes in my salsa. I really regret not taking the leftover chips with me to nibble on later, they were that good. The service was great and I'll definitely return.

We love Taco Mama and try to make it here for lunch when we are in Greensboro.Parking: Taco Mama is in a strip mall with shared parking. There are several very popular establishments in the same strip mall. Parking can be chaotic.
