Very first visit and many more to go. Service was awesome Khalia was the best sever my family (and mind you we are picky). Especially my granddaughter..but she was amazing..attractive friendly and helpful with choices. And very attentive..not to mention food was great.Dietary restrictions: My daughter in law has alot of food allergies but was able to find several items she could enjoy
So Nice, we did it twice! Casual, wallet-friendly eatery!Our group was in the area for business. Tripps was close to our hotel so we strolled in. Were were greeted and treated by pleasant staff. They will help you navigate the extensive menu.We were impressed with a steak house menu that offers a variety of options from beef and chicken to pork and pasta.Price points are very good! Where else can you get a full rack of ribs and chicken with sides for under $23 bucks?Our group had several platters which were all delicious with the Bourbon Honey Glazed Salmon taking top prize. Sides were mashed potatoes and freshly steamed broccoli.Other orders included the Steakhouse Burger, medium rare with crispy, skin-on French fries and another rib platter, this time with shrimp platter. The tasty baked beans had ground meat and a little spicy kick - nicely done!If we spent another day, we would have tried the parmesan encrusted chicken and a few others dishes that got our attention.We saved no room for dessert. Next time.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant . The food and the atmosphere was great, I definitely will be returning for another visit.
I met one of my staff members here for lunch and the food and service was extremely good. More importantly the bathroom was clean which is always important.

I had an amazing time at Tripps. I was advised by my hotel that this was one of the best local eateries in the area. I took my family there and I can say that they did not disappoint.Prior to going there, we reviewed the menu online and identified a lot of options. We got there and were presented with additional specials that we considered, as well. We settled on a delicious assortment - spring rolls, crab cakes, Thai chili shrimp, State Street Burger, and hand-breaded chicken tenders.Out of all of the choices we made, not one of them was a miss. The proportions of our entree options were MORE than enough. Our server was absolutely friendly and did her best in working with a very busy room. To top it off, we ordered a cheesecake that looked incredible, to say the least (with strawberry topping). It was enough to be shared amongst 2-3 people - if you were feeling generous.I definitely will keep this restaurant at the top of my list whenever I'm back in the area. This was a great experience!

So sad. This place used to be really good. The crab cakes are terrible now. They were the best thing on the menu back in the day. The decor has got to be 20+yrs old and it just doesn't look clean. Very disappointing.
