Relaxing and low-key, but with a sophisticated menu. Food preparation was superb. I had the duck confit with tender petite dumplings. We also overindulged in the warm bread and butter! Excellent friendly service.

Great service! It was hard to narrow down what to order for dinner. Everything on the menu sounded wonderful. The fried cauliflower and assorted cheese plate were both tasty choices for appetizers. The scallops were cooked perfectly. Highly recommended location for a date night or large party. They were reasonably busy for a late Friday evening with several large parties on the floor but our food was timed perfectly. We were in and out in an hour. We need to check out their brunch soon!

We chose to eat here due to the proximity of the restaurant to the Tanger Center. The meal was excellent and exceeded all of our expectations. I look forward to the next opportunity I have to dine at Undercurrent Restaurant!

Consistently good, last night was especially good food. French Onion soup was good (not too salty like many versions, yet was very flavorful. Should have had more mozzarella on top and multiple croutons would have been better than single bread piece that seemed like an afterthought). Salad was excellent - very fresh, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, tomato - all ingredients were top notch. Shrimp & Lobster spring rolls very good, not heavy or greasy. Pork on bao buns was excellent with nice sauce with a bit of Thai kick. Salmon was cooked perfect, served on bed of noodles. Nice bit of crunchy, kind of seared crust. Cooked to perfect temp, not dry or undercooked. Extensive wine list, we had a nice bottle of pinot.

It's been a long time since we have been to undercurrent. We gave it a try this weekend. Atmosphere was elegant and inviting. The menu was great and all of the appetizers were unique and delicious! The entrees did not disappoint either!!! The only spoiler to our evening was our server. She seemed like she was ready to clock out from the beginning. After she got our orders, she never asked us if we wanted a second drink, never refilled our water and never refilled our wine. She was pushing the bill on us without asking if we wanted dessert. We did order the bread pudding which was also delicious! When she brought us our dessert and told us that if we could make sure we leave before the other remaining table she would appreciate it!!! She went on to inform us that the server with the last table has to vacuum and she didn't feel like vacuuming!!! At first we thought she was joking! She then ignored our table and never returned. Another server actually came by and checked on us to see if we needed water or anything. I think he felt bad for us! I will give them another try but I hope we won't get the one bad apple as our server again!!!

We had an amazing service and loved everything we ate. The salmon was so delicious and we finished with the chocolate soufflé. Everything was perfect! If we lived closer we'd be back but we were only visiting for the weekend. I highly recommend.

Our waiter. Scott was terrific. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was delicious and it was very quiet corner of the restaurant. We all we already wanna go back.

The service was wonderful as well as the food!! Loved the trout and spring rolls. We were going to the Tanger Center for Performing Arts and was only a 5 minute walk. Will go back!

Omelette of the day was creative & tasty—loved the onion sprouts on top—so flavorful! Not a problem to do a special order. Good service always here! Ambience is special with several artists in residence!!! One tweak needed—to think out how to serve tea—preferably it would be brought in a pot at such a nice restaurant. And to not mix up Earl Grey for English Breakfast Tea—they are very different flavors. All in all one of the very finest restaurants Greensboro has to offer for any meal—breakfast, lunch & dinner.
