How do I even start. Habibi arguably has some of, if not the best overall food in Greenville, NC. All of their food is freshly made and very healthy, but my favorite is definitely the chicken shawarma. My family and I all go there whenever we have the opportunity. Everything on the menu is fantastic and I would recommend all of it. The restaurant is always clean, plus the setting is great for a date night or a first date. Overall, I can't recommend a better place to get great service and great food.
I've never had a bad experience at Habibi. Tonight was another example of how much they truly make you feel like family. While they were celebrating Ramadan as a family and sitting down to eat they were sharing their food with us. And it was just as delicious as what they had made and served us from the menu. Seriously the owner, his wife and all 5 of their kids are the nicest and most pleasant restaurant staff in Eastern NC. I've never seen them without the biggest smiles on their faces. And the food is PHENOMENAL! Best hummus I've ever had. I could eat it every single day. I would if I lived closer. The lamb gyro is my favorite, but the chicken shawarma is fantastic and you can't go wrong with the habibi salad. Oh, they also have the BEST falafel I've had in the US as well. GO TRY THEM! You will not be disappointed. They’re one of the best restaurants in Pitt County and the surrounding areas for a reason!

I'm not sure how this special restaurant slipped under my radar for 3 years, but tonight I had the pleasure of eating at Habibi and meeting the friendly staff! The reviews were totally accurate on how the restaurant operates with warmth and a smile to anyone stopping by. The owner, Andy, his nephew and staff were professional and greeted everyone who stopped in. I enjoyed chatting with them and respect how hard working they are, especially during this time of year for religious reasons they cannot eat the entire day and yet serve everyone food with good attitude. The atmosphere is roomy, well lit, clean, and comfortable. The food totally hit the spot with the flavors from the hummus, to the pita bread, to the lamb gyros - Delicious! Fresh salad, rice, and tzatziki sauce complimented those offerings. The menu is simple and that's a sure sign the restaurant uses fresh ingredients and has strong faith in their cooking. The prices are also very reasonable and the portions generous. You absolutely cannot find another Mediterranean restaurant like Habibi in Greenville and for most of Eastern NC. Pretty much you must drive as far as Raleigh to find similar food. Go check them out!

Lamb gyro (all the way) with grape leaves as my side of choice.I couldn’t resist the baklavas either and I’m glad I got them as they are amazing.Friendly people, great tasting food, reasonable prices. I recommend Habibi if you like Mediterranean food.

I have visited this location several times and each time I always get the hospitality and energy from the people employees especially from the owner! Me and him always have small talk whenever we see each other and he always treats me well. The food is absolutely amazing as well, They have a great beef shawarma as well as the strawberry mint lemonade drink! A must visit for me.

Our second day at Greenville,NC , we were looking for some good food .. a little bit hungry!! We really like Mediterranean food and is been hard to find a good one on different states , we been .AWESOME !! Fresh food , made by them .. nothing frozen . Great service everyone so friendly and nice environment.No doubt I would go back for another meal .
I was headed to Jersey Mike's when I parked and saw this restaurant. The name "Habibi" grabbed a hold of me, and I'm glad it did. I was greeted warmly by the who I assumed was the owner. He was very detailed answering my questions about the food. The minute he said "Halal," I was sold and ordered more than I intended. ? The food was absolutely delicious!Vegetarian options: I didn't see any side dishes with meat in them, but it would be good to just ask.Parking: It's a small strip mall; get in where you fit in.
