It was ok ....food and service could have been better . waitress was running around taking orders answering the phone not really a smile or friendly strictly business and over worked ... overpriced.

I expected better for how much I paid. Cheese biscuit was luke warm and not fresh. May have been made a day ago and just heated by lamps. bacon was thin and see through. My order was takeout and I didn’t get any salt or pepper packets . French toast tastes more like a sweet egg white sandwich. I just feel overall wasn’t worth what I paid.

I am not often in Greenville, but when I found out that the Abrams in town was now closed, I discovered this place from Yelp. It's a predictably good local-owned joint with southern diner ambience. Staff is friendly. I was surprised how busy this place still was after 10am. The staff was great, and although I did have to wait a little for a table and a waitress, it wasn't long at all. I decided to try the fried bologna breakfast plate. It was great. Eggs were cooked perfectly. The bologna was thick and plenty. My coffee cup was kept filled constantly. In fact, even though it took a while to get my order, I had coffee on my table within seconds of sitting down. I also got a cheese biscuit as a side and it was yummy and melty. I only have two critiques. One is seating. I'm a big guy, which is nobody's fault but mine. Much of the seating is older booths, and not very comfortable for someone of my size. The only other issue was since I'm a big grits fan, I was disappointed that these here were very watered down. You could drink them if you had a straw. I will be back here again though. Overall I left full and happy!

I was a little disappointed in my food and service. I worked here many years ago and the food, service and atmosphere was a lot better then. I got the bacon plate. The bacon was very thin and shriveled up. The eggs were cooked too hard and I couldn't even taste the cheese. The hashbrowns wasn't hot when I got them and the onions I asked to be in them were long and chunky. The isn't even hot enough to melt the butter. The waitress was lost at what she was doing. She kept servicing the wrong toast to people. It seemed like there was no order to the whole place. The best thing about the whole thing was the tea I drank and the memories that came flooding back to me when I walked in.
