I've always enjoyed eating here, but it was my husband's first time and my son (who hated sushi) now loves it. They make the sushi fresh, but don't think that all they have is sushi! They have everything from legitimate bento boxes to general tsos chicken. The best time to go for sushi is lunch, before 3:30, because they have an all-you-can-eat sushi lunch. There are So many options included with this lunch, as well. You can get tempura fried veggies, miso soup, salad, wonton, etc you do have to finish everything you order on the (sushi buffet) so try to only order what you can eat as you get it or go with a group so you can all share/try them together. You will NOT be disappointed. The food has Always been absolutely delicious and our waiter was the epitome of a gentleman. Attentive to all his tables and when we thought about asking about or for something, he was either giving it to us or letting us know the status of it. We'll definitely be returning, since my son has already decided that he wants sushi for his bday and Japan Inn was his choice!Vegetarian options: Plenty of clearly labeled vegetarian options.

One of my favorite sushi places in the area. Seafood always taste fresh - this is my go to spot. I love their bogo special roll deals, it really is awesome to get one of the same price or lower. I will need to try their all you can eat sushi menu and do a sit down. I always do take out. They are fast and efficient and the service is always amazing.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I loved it, the hubby was not a fan though. But the service was great , price was reasonable and the restaurant was clean. I got the clear soup and hibachi shrimp and vegetable plate. Delicious!

I don’t complain about places bc I am not a Karen lol BUT, I come here a lot and I used to love this place. Recently I had went with some friends, and it was going okay up until we ordered our food. The waitress seemed kind of quiet and new so I understood her shyness. After we ordered our food, which only two of us got food (veggie hibachi and general tzos), the waitress never came back to refill drinks or see if we were okay until she came with our food. It was over a hour until we got our food and others that were seated after us got there’s before us. When we got the food, it was cool as if someone had left it out for a while. I was very disappointed by the food and service. All that money wasted, I learned after that to go to Shogun! Right beside it as well!

My first and probably last order was Chicken Soba. It was more or less Lo Mein. Not Soba. It was a large portion, but very little vegetables were mixed in with the noodles and chicken. And it was very salty. I've lived in Japan, and I wasn't expecting authentic Japanese food here in North Carolina. What i did get was Americanized Chinese food Japanese style... Or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Very solid place to get sushi. Probably the 2nd best sushi restaurant that I have ever been to.
Regularly go here. Very very busy night last night. 45 minutes wait. Everyone was crowded in the entry way blocking flow in and out of the door. They have a really big room off to the right of the greeting desk that I feel they could convert to a nice sitting and waiting area. Food has always been great and staff is usually really great as well. I could tell even the wait staff was feeling the heat of being backed up because we were asked if we were ready for the check very early in the meal. A little off putting to the atmosphere

I stopped in for lunch one random week day. I very much enjoyed the bento box! It was delicious. Everything had great flavor and was cooked well. The sushi was fresh as well! Service was quick and great! I did feel the place overall was clean and kept up with. So all in all very enjoyable!

Been here a few times and it's always been really good. The sushi is yummy and the crab wontons are delicious. However I got a poke bowl for the first time and while it was really good it was the smallest poke bowl I've ever seen. Definitely not worth what I paid. I've gotten much more for less plenty of times just be aware of proportions.

As a server & someone who eats a lot of Asian food. This has to be the worst I’ve had in my life.The server was rude & near the end decided to be nice. The sushi was just sitting there waiting for our server to bring it to us, and it wasn’t even busy.I feel sick and already feel awful.
