Wow! The food was fine southern style cooking. Eating at K&W is like eating at grandma's table. The smell of the pot stewing in the kitchen and that welcome southern draw from the staff is the icing on the cake. This was a memorable experience for my family. My kids gave the restaurant 5 stars.

Brought a friend that has never been here and we specifically went for the steak gravy and rice and they had none. Then decided to get baked spaghetti as a backup plan, they also had none. Lady behind the counter was super rude.

More and more, they prove home cooking at a fair price is much needed and in demand.6-14-21: Fried chicken was excellent. The lima beans , seven layer salad and baked chicken with dressing were very sub-par. The manager was gracious with my complaints. The entree server was all over the place and the line was very slow and backed up.

My husband and I came to greenville in order to have a procedure at hospital and have always looked forward to eating at K&W........Stopped in to eat dinner around 5pm and was so disappointed with the food!!!! Hardly no employees, yet the ones there were so kind and working hard while apologizing about food ?! Extremely limited meats and vegetables, and generally all the food! We had to send back the country style steak......shoe leather!!!! What has happened to this once dependably excellent food cafeteria restaurant!!!!!! I do want to thank thecashier at the food line, the team leader trainer, and the young gentleman working so hard to please those in the dining room!!!!!

K&W is my goto place for lunch with a friend. The food is always good and fresh. The folks who work there are kind and efficient. My favorite order is a fried chicken quarter with beef gravy on it. Where else could you get that? Always a good selection of veggies. The strawberry shortcake is excellent. When in Greenville check out K&W.

This was the most disgusting food I have ever had. The staff is very rude and the food was cold and I was not offered anything to compensate for the experience. Dont waste your time and come they need to be shut down permanently.
