Really really the seafood here. Great variety of options: lobster tails, shrimp, catfish, flounder, etc. The customer service is great. Nothing better than great seafood found locally.

My only place for restaurant quality seafood. Owner is very knowledgeable and comes from the industry. Seafood is always fresh and the selection is not what you would expect in a small town. I LOVE shrimp and crab legs. Do yourself a favor and swing by pick up a stash, ask the owner for recipes and enjoy!

Made my first visit ever this past Saturday after seeing the business in a Google search and seeing such great reviews. They are well deserved! David was great to chat with, and he was happy to offer helpful hints on how to prepare what I bought. My wife and I have had his seafood for two nights straight now, and it is outstanding -- a term I do not use lightly. First night was grilled NC swordfish and grilled shrimp; tonight was grilled shrimp and pan-seared North Atlantic sea scallops. OMG. We both were blown away by the freshness and taste of everything. I had been impressed since walking through the door of his business for the first time: there is no "fish odor" whatsoever, which means fresh fresh fresh. He has an extraordinary selection of seafood, and it's obvious he knows what and how to buy it. This place is the real deal, folks. I plan to be back weekly to get the best in local NC seafood and fresh items from other places on the East Coast like New Bedford, MA and Norfolk, VA where the scallops come off the boats as just caught. Thanks, David, and I look forward to being a regular customer from now on!

Chef Dave got bit by a live crab today while he was loading my cooler. He took it like a champ and was relieved when I assisted in getting him free. He is a great business man and we will be back to this champion of seafood! The crabs were huge at a great price considering he gave us the extras who were moving slow!

We went to the Atlantic Seafood Market in Greenville this weekend for the first time and it was great! It's a local fresh seafood market with a proprietor who really seems to know his stuff. There was a short line, yet the owner took his time helping each person, cutting filets to order for folks that were ahead of us. It gave us some time to look around the shop and see what items were available. Everything looked great and so fresh, and when we were at the front of the line the owner couldn't have been nicer. We bought some incredible looking (and tasting) shrimp and likely some of the best scallops we've ever purchased. There is a fresh seafood market near where we live in Washington that isn't bad, but I think because the owner is working the counter this puts it over the top. We will definitely be back!

I am so impressed with this local fresh seafood market. I spoke with the owner of the business, David, who is a retired restrauntour for about 15 minutes and it was delightful. My mom was born in Nova Scotia Canada (Cape Sable Island) and all of her relatives were lobstermen. She taught me a lot about seafood and cooking it. Atlantic Seafood has a great selection of fresh seafood and they will filet it to order. They are open Basically Thursday through Saturday. 11-6. It is independently owned and is exactly the place that get seafood in Eastern North Carolina. Highly recommended!
