Ms. Edythe gave me an attitude when I asked for food. She made a face and was rudely serving me. It was 8am not sure what I could’ve done. The workers suck.

Great food at this dining hall on ECU's campus! We loved all the options at the several stations and that it was all you can eat!Only draw back was the lines/waiting.. But what can you do? It was a busy day!

As lovely as the staff always are the food has gotten rough as of late.Sometimes I can’t find clean utensils, or find a bowl to eat cereal out of in the morning,Other times the soda machine won’t produce ice or any beverage.Asked them to put mushrooms in the pasta at the pasta station and they put raw mushooms instead of cookin them a little in the pan.Just frustrated to be honest.

Don't listen to these "local guides" they are fake reviewers. Let me tell you the truth as a actual student who is forced to have this meal plan. If there was a zero star option,, I would rate it that.. For charity's sake, I'm vegetarian. And I'll say good luck finding any food of substance if you are vegetarian/vegan/a person with dietary restrictions. They will have 20 meat option but only 3 for dietary restricted people which always is undercooked and tastes horrible. You cannot get specialized food for any dietary situation. My friend with numerous dietary restrictions and I both tried to get pre made food so we can have actual food to fuel our body. Despite us both having doctors notes, we were both rejected. Of all the students I have talked to with such problems, they too are denied. There is also the issue of HEAVY cross contamination. Pasta Station, works use same spatula for every students individual pan, this means cross contamination of broccoli, meats, mushrooms, cheeses etc. All things that could cause a severe allergic reaction. The grill station also has the same problem and DEFINITELY THE WOK. They may put warning there but what is the point if we as students have to eat there? We have a limited amount of pirate meals/bucks. Plus we pay 2,499 a semester for this dining hall. They try to say if you vegetarian/vegan use the salad bar. I would then like to remind them, it is not a substational source of nutrients for almost every single meal. The body needs food diversity and that simply doesn't cover it. And also you guessed it, heavy cross contamination. As for breakfast? Same thing every single day. The eggs are always undercooked, I've gotten samaolina from it. Great thing to do to you students. Speaking of undercooked, EVERYTHING IS EITHER OVER COOKED OR UNDER. It's once in a blue moon that things are cooked right. Even basic things. West End dining, you need to do better and not slack off. There is a reason regular restaurants have numerous CDC visits or health inspectior checks. I don't know how west end hasn't been taken down or flagged but they most certainly qualify as whose mother was a epidemiologist for the military who inspected dining halls. She says she would have given it a fail. You need to retrain your staff to make sure food is fully cooked, to avoid cross contamination and have better food diversity for dietary restricted people. If this doesn't work with how the dining hall operates, than perhaps consider investing in a better dining hall or different system to let students have access to nutritious meals. Also to the dietian at ECU West End that said pizza is a good source of protien, just where did you get your training?

I have been coming to this place a few times. And now I'm attending the Employee Christmas party that's for the Aramark staff who's from Todd, West End, Crotan, and other places!

Great meal options with lots of variety. Using local products from NC is great. Very clean and welcoming environment.

What a waste of two grand. Hair in my food and not vegan friendly.
