I went here for dinner for me and the hubby. I ordered general tso with fried rice, egg drop soup and crab rangoons. The fried rice was terrible and looked like the yellow rice in the bags. The general chicken was chewy and just not great. The soup was the absolute worst I've ever had. I really wanted to like this place but just didn't. We won't be going back.

The restaurant needs an update (a fresh new face or new look) plants are nice. The customer service is great, helpful and fast! The food is ... another story. The women taking my order informed me that everything was already prepared so it'll only take 10 minutes for my to go order to be ready. Instantly I knew my food wouldn't be fresh. I recommend if you come here to get the chicken on a stick and some fried rice. The egg roll is soggy and has a concerning taste. The streak and broccoli ... the steak is soggy and looks like it's been in liquid for so long it lost its color. The broccoli is firm and delicious. The shrimp and rice are very bland and are almost all the same color. The egg drop soup was very very orange ... it must have been sitting ... maybe food coloring was added ... I'm not sure. It saddens me that this is how it turned out because they are in a great location. I wish them well, I will not be returning.

I really wish I read these reviews before sending my husband to get food. DISGUSTING AND sadly inedible. I ordered the beef and broccoli with white rice. WOW.... I'm not sure what that was but I'm sure the meat was bad. It was gray in color looks half cooked with what I'm sure was a jar of minced garlic and some oil or butter cooked. My husband ordered chicken (general Tao) and it was drenched in a hot sauce with a sweet wanna be sauce. The egg rolls um just had cabbage I'm honestly not sure. A complete waste of money. I'm from NJ and we know how good Chinese food looks and taste and this was by far trash!.

China Inn in Havelock NC. Absolutely, the worse Chinese food I have ever had. Where can you go to get some decent Chinese in Eastern NC? The beef and Broccoli was breaded beef that the breading was falling off, never had it like that before. Had no soy sauce cooked in, it was bland and tasteless, I will never buy that again. I would say, hard pass, it is not cheap either.

The best Chinese place in havelock. They are so friendly. Not to mention how delicious the food is too. The service is quick. The longest I’ve waited was maybe 10 min, and that’s for delivery. Definitely 10/10.

The first experience sesame chicken. The batter on the outside of the chicken wasn’t completely cooked. The lady behind the desk was extremely ignorant. Sometime around last year my boyfriend and I were ordering food for pickup and delivery. Majority of the food was freshly made, except for the last dish which was disgusting to the point of neither of us having an appetite for Chinese food. Recently, I placed an order for delivery and purchased the sesame chicken combination platter that consisted of rice and an egg roll. it wasn’t worth for what I paid for. It tasted nothing like chicken. That’s the last time I will be spending or wasting money there!!! I would rather go to Panda Express.

Since it was raining, we went to this restaurant before going to a movie. Our hostess/waitress was so observant, catering to our needs, and a super sweet personality. We all got different dishes and they were wonderful! Thank you so much!Vegetarian options: My sister ordered vegetables only and we all ordered our specific rice. Food was okay. 6/10 I ordered the lunch special with fried rice + one egg roll with beef and broccoli. -The fried rice needs more flavor and more egg. -The egg roll could have more flavor as well and more veggies inside like carrots and cucumbers. -The beef and broccoli was okay but the beef was chewy and could have better seasoning.
