My wife and I ordered a 3 item seafood platter fried…we both had the fried oysters…she had popcorn shrimp and flounder with hers and I had jumbo shrimp and stuffed crab with mine. The oysters were very fishy tasting and the shrimp was like rubber. The only part of the meal that was fresh was the baked potato and the waitress…she was great. We will never visit there again. Expensive and bad!!!

The food at this Mayflower restaurant tasted like usual.. Chicken tenders have an off taste. Idk if that's just how theirs are supposed to taste. My husband suspects they just keep reusing the grease,Idk. My fries weren't really crispy.. they just seemed reheated in a microwave. My daughter's were too crispy,she said. Hush puppy rings always seem mushy inside.The fried okra is always good!!

Food was cooked to perfection! Started off with a bloomin onion (which was excellent) then I had a fried scallop platter and my wife ordered the popcorn shrimp platter. We were both beyond pleased with the foods flavor and generous portions they provided. Finished our valentines day lunch with a limited time, made from scratch strawberry shortcake...by far the best cake I have ever had! We left very satisfied with the experience. The service here is impeccable and you can taste the love and passion they put into their craft. Highly reccommend!
The food is not bad and there is a great deal on the plate but it needs more flavor. We had fried alaskan whitefish and tilapia, shrimp and fried clams. The breading beeds more flavor. It is very bland. We didn't try the Cajun flavor that may have better flavor. Hushpuppies are good. Baked potatoe and corn amd freenbeans good. Coleslaw a little dry but tasty. Service was good staff friendly and helpful.Parking: Pretty good parking .

Lots of fried options but enough healthy options as well. I got the broiled flounder. It was tasty with salad and a jacket potato. Quiet relaxing vibe next to the Henderson Walmart. The service was quick so just the right lunch break while I charged my car. They have plenty of well maintained seating and friendly staff. Note, there is a charge if you pay with a credit card that is waived if you pay with cash. I enjoyed looking at their decor including murals, Knick knacks and tapestries.
The staff was so friendly and sweet. My server was Michelle and she was very attentive and offered recommendations. The food was good.

If you like good, fried food, this is the place. The Cajun Catfish was especially good, but the fried shrimp are a close second. We ate here while charging our car at the EA station in the Walmart parking lot and service was fast enough for us to get the charge we needed without hitting 100%. Good deal!
