Many vegetarian options. Flavorful! My goodness - but not too chaotic. Solid lunch flavors and portions. Highly recommend the chickpea burger, French onion soup, and tomato pie.So, so wonderful to get a yummy meal while supporting such important work in an inclusive environment. I applaud the job training program innovation!

WOW! This place is 1000/10. I went for lunch today and FINALLY understand all of the hype. The food is SO incredibly good and the pricing is extremely fair. The menu has all the regular soups, salads and sandwiches but their take on them is creative and unique. This is my new favorite lunch spot in Hendersonville and it tastes even better knowing it's for a good cause. They don't accept tips but donations to Safelight are welcomed. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The cafe's design is spread out so you can enjoy your meal with plenty of space from other tables. The big 5th Avenue-facing windows in the front flood the restaurant with peaceful natural light. We had the Shrimp & Grits with a Creamy Spinach and Chickpea soup as a size and a Champions Chicken Panini with the Cucumber and Onion side.

Fantastic food, prepared as fresh as possible. Not a huge selection, but we ended up with 5 different items from the menu, and all was superb! We appreciated that they support their community and asked for donations rather than tips for the workers. Speaking of workers- the servers and front end cashier were all volunteers.
Dandilions is a cafe that employs women in peril and supports the effort of abused women to free themselves. Since this is a dining review I will say the food was OK. Nothing spectacular but certainly passable. I left a fairly generous donation in addition to the cost of the bill. I will certainly go back in support of this worthy cause when I am in Hendersonville.
Eat here for the exceptional food, give a donation for the excellent purpose helping those caught up in and moving away from domestic violence. So happy to have found this place. Very comfortable atmosphere, super attentive staff.

The tomato pie is absolutely delicious, as is the shrimp and grits. We ordered the grape salad on a lark and are so glad we did. It was a wonderfully delicious surprise.
