“Been meaning to try this here in Fletcher. Got here just before close. Awesome food, great price and the woman at the window was super friendly. I asked for spicy sauce and they threw in a chile! ¿Porque no? There's always people there. I had 3 tacos: pastor, suadero, and chorizo. Good corn tortillas, served street style.“
“Really nice folks; fast, friendly service. I ordered the quesabirria for lunch today. It's enough to share for a reasonable price and tastes great. Ambiance: the food truck actually does have a neat little eating area behind it. There are red umbrellas over the tables for shade. It was too chilly for me to sit there today but I'll enjoy a "picnic" there in the future. The quesabirria is seasoned slow cooked beef stuffed into two flour tortillas with melted cheese, guacamole and pico de gallo on them. BTW that's not a pickle-- that's a yummy mild-medium pepper you see there in my photo. (The tortollas are huge with lots of beef !) Served with nachos & cheese on the side. Theres a really tasty beef broth included and you can request or will be offered some little sauces. The red ones were too hot for me but the green is mild. I'll go back to try other items on the menu.“
“Best QuesaBirria I have had in my life. A friend of my husband's recommended this new truck to us. Soo glad we stopped, it made my day. My husband got a burrito and I got the QuesaBirria. It was moist, FULL OF FLAVOR, perfect texturally and the broth..omg. Very drinkable, and I did drink it. And chewed it. I loved the fresh onion and cilantro in the broth also. The crew was super sweet especially with our terrible spanish. There is seating inside and outside, you choose. Plenty of drinks in the coolers inside also. 10/10 will go back.“
“Stopped out of curiosity- wasn't terribly hungry. I was greeted with a smile and told that 2 tacos would be perfect for my hunger level. Don't know what got into me- I generally don't order fish from a food truck unless I'm familiar with it- but I had a hankering for it so got the fish tacos. I was so pleasantly surprised. And for $6, you cannot go wrong. The location is kind off the beaten path, and there were still cars in and out mid-afternoon. So obviously this place is a known little treasure.Clean.You can call orders ahead at 828-458-3370 (I should've took a pic of the menu. Next time, because I will definitely go back).“
“The best shrimp quesadilla you can get in 50 miles with sine of their Awesome red hot sauce and AI for extra limes and you have a perfect lunch. Another seriously good hidden gem. The steak isn’t my favorite.. tends to be a little tougher than necessary the times I’ve tried it. They have Mexican Coke in the bottle which is a big yes. Don’t go there for their ambiance. Go there for a quick to go order, they accept order aheads. But seriously, the pastor tacos with extra lime and their red hot sauce is very crave-able and especially the shrimp quesadilla.. just to be clear.. on the shrimp…. Quesadilla….. Yep.“
“This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but delicious nonetheless! I'm from out of town, was driving back home from DuPont Forest and was craving tacos so I decided to give this place a go. I arrived early Sunday morning just a few minutes before they opened, the owner was kind enough to stop what he was doing and serve me right away. I got four delicious tacos al pastor and an horchata. The tortillas were as fresh as can be and the meat was so well seasoned! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!“
“OK, it's not the best taco I've ever had but pretty darn good. It hit several positive buttons--fresh, hot, simple, inexpensive, good service, nice people. Health rating was posted on the front window--94.5. My search for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex led me here. This place is hard to find. It's a food truck next to a gas station with a sign out front that says "Food Center" in the very small town of Dana. They have some outside picnic tables to sit at. I'll be back to try some other menu items.“
“Hidden Gem! For anyone within 30ish minutes of this place... GO! Hands down top 3 tacos I have ever had nationwide. I have traveled from the East Coast to West Coast, and I realize that this is just a food truck, but I was training at the North Carolina justice center up the road and convinced my entire class to come eat here on day two after I was overwhelmed on day one. Nothing disappoints and the cheese dip with Mexican sausage is to die for. You will thank me. Enjoy!!“
“Idk why we waited so long to try this place. Best BBQ I've had around here. We had the special which wad a smoked bologna sandwich 10/10. We also had the brisket mac-n-cheese 10/10 and the smoked wings 10/10. Highly recommend if you have an urge for some delicious smoked “
“My husband and I visited for a quick bite on our way in to Asheville and it was amazing! We tried the chicken quesadilla, carne asada taco, and chorizo tacos and they were some of the best we’ve ever had! The staff is very kind and their little seating area was very clean and decorated with beautiful plants. You can tell a lot of thought went into the space and the food.“
