Sadly, the word that comes to mind for our experience here is "unfortunate." A friend raved about this place so we were excited to make the stop for lunch, but were underwhelmed. The staff is friendly and the space itself is neat: elaborate lego sets, a running train in the rafters, funny signage, etc., but the food and service were sub par. Service was very slow and the food was not impressive: incredibly soggy fries and an overdone burger (split the difference?). It's one thing to cook your burgers well done as your standard, but when you ask patrons how they'd like their burger cooked ("medium rare, please"), its especially disappointing when the answer to that question is entirely disregarded. Please, just don't ask. To be fair, we came one time and they were maybe just off their game (and based on the reviews, this must be the case), but it's just unfortunate because I doubt we'll be back, except maybe to grab some pastries to go. To top it off, their Sysco delivery truck decided to block us in after our meal so we had to wait 5 minutes before we could leave... with young, crying kids in the car who were by that point very clearly ready for their afternoon nap. In summary: Unfortunate.Parking: Fairly large parking lot, but it filled up pretty well by the time lunch rush came and we were leaving.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu.

My wife and I have been wanting to try The Baker's Box for a while now. Today was our lucky day! We tried their "Big A** Fish Sandwich" which was one of today's specials and the Ashe-vegas Panini. Both sandwiches were delicious, but that fish sandwich might have been the best I have ever had. The house made roll and tarter sauce were out of this world! I just wish there was more and that it was a permanent menu item. While ordering our lunch, we were tempted by the dessert display to the left of the registers, so we ordered a lemon tart and an oreo cheesecake brownie to take home. Highly recommend this place! Just don't stop in for lunch if you are in a rush, they have signs reminding you that this is not a fast food joint.

My BLY did not have "heaping piles of bacon" as described on the menu. The chefs sauce was very good but it wasnt worth $12. Fries were very soggy. Person that took my order was very curt on the phone.

My wife and I looked into several cake bakeries, but in the end, we chose Mara. Simply put, she was awesome, everything about the cake was awesome, and the value that you get is undeniable. She even argued with our venue to move the cake table to ensure the safely of our cake. Don't let her busy restaurant scare you. When it's "your" day, nothing else matters to her.

I was speaking with Mara via email about quotes for a wedding cake/cupcakes. I called to get some information on the number of people that their different tiered cakes serve. Mara was pretty rude and told me that she would not be able to create any more quotes for me and that she had given me all the info I'd need (she had not). I understand that it can be time consuming to create these quotes and I was grateful for her doing so, but maybe put the pricing, or at least the number of people that the different cake sizes serve on your website and you won't have to create so many quotes. It's a little odd to think someone would book your services without an accurate quote...Edit in response to Mara's reply: I appreciate your apology, as your tone was quite rude. But the simple fact is that no, I did not have all the info I needed to any quote I wanted when you quoted me $60 for a single-tiered cake for cutting and $700 for a three-tiered cake. I'm somehow supposed to know what a double-tiered cake would cost and how many it would serve when given a range that wide? Again, if you don't want to draft more than 3 quotes when you stand to make hundreds of dollars (I would have placed an order had I not gotten such bad customer service), then put some more info on your website. It's that simple.

The absolute best hamburger ever!! The gluten free wrap didn’t fall apart and was so wonderful. The selections of dessert’s was amazing and had some gluten free options. Cute outdoor seating by a creek, and a Lego collection to look at rounded out a perfect stop.
The gyro is the best gyro I’ve had ever!!! The lamb was so soft and the taste was so amazing. I wish I could live here so I can eat it more often ?
