We were very excited to try Verri’s and decided tonight was the night. I had made reservations this morning, which was very easy online. We loved the atmosphere and our waitress was excellent! We started with the calamari fra diavolo, it was delicious. The guys both got different chicken meals and they both enjoyed them very much. I got the eggplant parmigiana, not only was it delicious but the portion was very large! My only complaint was the dessert. My husband and I got cannolis to go, once home we ate them and they were only partially filled. It was like the two ends had some filling and the middle was empty. So disappointing because the cream was delicious but for 9.00 a piece I would expect them to be filled all the way through! Would definitely eat there again but probably skip dessert:(

We tried this tonight for the first time. This was the BEST fettuccini Alfredo I have ever had. I eat Alfredo at almost every restaurant and this was absolutely amazing. The pasta is handmade, the sauce was excellent, and the portions were great.Our waitress Madison was delightful. She was so friendly, attentive, and had a great personality!We are here when it used to be a different Italian place and it was mediocre at best. This new place is an entirely different league.

Very nice staff. But the food was disappointing. Just the basics are not right. Bread was ok but oil dipp way to much different spices. Salt and pepper would be enough. Pasta Bolognese was swimming in sauce. Was just thrown together, clearly sauce was watered and not reduced or cooked together. Lasagne tasted blend not home made. Both dishes way too salty and not tasted home made at all. The vibe was great and relaxing, nice music and clean. It has nothing to do with fine dining but with some twists would be a great restaurant. Please Verrie team, shorten the menu and make the dishes fresh.

Cute restaurant. Unfortunately Both of our dishes, Osso Bucco and lasagna were very salty. There was maybe 3oz of edible meat on the veal dish that was $35. It was tough, needed to be braised longer. The server was distracted with cleaning the bar and running to go orders. We made a reservation ahead and our reserved table was next to the bathroom. Quite disappointing all around.

This was our first trip to Verri's. It will certainly not be our last. From start to finish it was a fantastic meal. The pasta was fresh, the sauces were delicious and the dessert delectible. I started with the house side salad, the ingredients were generous and the dressing was awesome. For my main course I had the rigatoni and I'd definitely order it again. For dessert I had the blueberry cheese cake, which was exactly what you'd want in a NY cheesecake. The crust was perfect. My wife had the gnocchi in vodka sauce and she loved it, I had a sample and I would have been pleased with it also. Our guest had the chicken piccata and I think she licked the plate (kidding) but she was very happy. My daughter (6) had penne with red sauce and she is usually a picky eater and I think she ate most of the very generous portion. My wife and our guest both had a cannoli, and I can't say enough about them. If you go, save room... The service was very good and our server was attentive and very welcoming. She did a great job going over the menu and made some good suggestions. Can't wait to go back!

We had an extraordinary meal - I had veal and my partner had chicken, both on a bed of angel hair pasta. The service was attentive without hovering. The entire staff was friendly. It was a great evening. There were 2 large groups in the back room, fairly loud at times, but they were clearly enjoying themselves and we did not mind.

Verri's is beautifully decorated to provide the ambiance a diner would enjoy in an authentic Italian restaurant. The service was excellent. The meal was deliciously memorable---we recommend the eggplant lasagna. And the house red, perfectly paired. Sorry we did not have room for dessert. Definitely will return.
Not a great selection of Italian wine so made do with California Silver Oak which was priced reasonably. Salads were fresh and crisp mussels were pleasing. Both chicken piccata and parmigiana were too thick and as was the osso bucco surprisingly tough. I was also surprised the final insult was a service charge for using a charge card. My other meals there have been delightful and I will return but this was not so

Occasion: Belated Birthday Dinner for 99 year old mother and introduction to new person in my life. This was my first visit to Verri's but my companion had been to the restaurant when it was "Mona Lisa". She was very impressed with the updated environment and staff. Food was very nice, hot and delicious. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. My mother is in a wheelchair. We look forward to future visits.

We appreciated Italian "comfort food" on a rainy night. The generous serving of lasagna was delicious. Two of us had satisfying pasta dishes. The calamari fra diavolo had a thick and spicy sauce but could have used more calamari. Our server was friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

We enjoyed three different dishes for dinner. Each was excellent. Our server, Madison, is very knowledgeable and could not have been nicer. She makes a great martini! Overall. we had an excellent night out with good friends from Bristol Harbour, NY.
